November 2020 I went to Inside Out for the first time for Botox with Abby (always amazing). While I was there, she suggested I try some skincare treatments with the aestheticians in office. That day I booked my first facial. The day before my facial, I saw a dermatologist who prescribed me 3 different aggressive prescriptions to try to combat my acne. I called Inside Out to see if I should hold off on taking them until after my Diamond Glow, and they told me it would be better to play it safe and wait. When I went in for my first facial with the lovely Courtney M., she thoroughly investigated the skin that caused me so much insecurity. I told her I was nervous about starting the prescriptions because of how harsh they are. Courtney told me "I'm going to be honest, I think that I can get this under control. Hold off on the medication and give me two months of bi-weekly treatments and if your skin doesn't improve slightly then you can take the medication." So I gave her 2 months, and almost half of my breakouts were gone. I never new my skin was capable of clearing up this much. These pictures represent what giving your aesthetician 9 months can do. I just saw Abbey for lip filler for the first time (I have seen her several times in the past for Botox). I had been very nervous about lip fillers and have been thinking about getting them for a long time. I'm SO glad I went for it and had Abbey do them. The pain was about a 3.5/10 for me (I put Botox around 5.5/10 and my tattoo at 9/10)! Abbey was very knowledgeable about the various filler options, and listened to what I wanted - which was a natural look, but noticeable! Inside Out Academy: I recently took the condensed botox and filler course with Abbey and WOW! A little background, I am a registered nurse who was very interested in entering the aesthetics industry and I wanted to start with botox and filler. I had done extensive research about what course would be the best one, both from an education stand point and price standpoint. This course popped up a couple times so I reached out to Abbey and ended up signing up for the course and I am so thankful I chose this one for multiple reasons. The class size was small, I had 2-3 people learning with me so the hands on aspect was incredible. Unlike other cheaper courses that pack in lecture halls of people and allow little to no hands on practice. The learning environment Abbey created was so appreciated. I felt like I could ask questions, I felt supported, and I now feel confident to practice my skills on my own. The organization of the class was perfect. You can just tell a lot of hard work and dedication went into it. It flowed well, was easy to follow, and was very informative. I was given a booklet that corresponded with a powerpoint, videos to better understand the content, and hands on materials. The clinical days after! When I was doing my research on which class to take, most courses didn't offer additional days to come in and practice, and if they did, they charged insane fees for them. This course allows you extra clinical days to not only shadow, but to actually practice injecting. The continued support I already feel is amazing as well. Something I stressed about getting started is what to do next now that I'm certified. Abbey covered all of that information, offered to connect me with her past students, and touched on their additional trainings (that I cannot wait to take!). I really truly cannot recommend this course with Abbey enough! My experience was amazing and I know her passion for aesthetics and teaching is why I was able to learn so efficiently and feel so confident. Thank you Inside Out Academy, I cannot wait to be back!
