They treat their workers like crap when it doesn't serve them or their commission. My mother was sick and needed surgery one year. I had recently completed a contract with insight global on good terms and a new contract role came up. I told them I was not interested in the moment because my parent was having surgery coming up and was severely ill. When another contract comes up later reach out to me. Instead of Lauren Qui*ck respecting my wishes her and the other recruiter Breanna . Kept calling me and I felt pressured because I was worried if I did not do this contract I would not be presented with another one in the future. I accepted the role and I needed one day off just to be at the hospital with my mother. La u ren calls me knowing I'm at the hospital and asks me if I could just sign into the computer (extremely disrespectful and self serving). I told her I could not because I'm talking to the doctor and I reminded her that I'm supposed to have this day off. She later emails me about taking a survey immediately and I said again im at the hospital my parent has cancer. Once the role started due to me having to care for my mom I could not fulfill the role (as I knew deep down I couldn't anyways because of my circumstances, it was impossible) I inform the recruiter and returned the equipment. They claimed they understood and said I was eligible for rehire however I found out I wasn't. This was cruel knowing my circumstances. After going through a grueling, time consuming, 3 part interview process and being told there was literally nothing I needed to change or work on, only to be told they chose another candidate, I can't shake the sour taste I have in my mouth from this company. Upon visiting the office, I felt like I was transported to the set of mean girls . IG definitely has a type on who they hire. Not to mention the horrible up and down stare the director of operations gave me when I showed up to the office. Buy, hey they waived my parking fee. read more

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the Detroit, Michigan office. I was contacted by Juan Morano to come to Detroit Michigan office of Insight Global this week. It was in reference to a position I had previously submitted for and not been selected. I met with Juan Morano and Katie Tassoni in the food court of the Renaissance Center (not their offices which I assumed we would be going to) At conclusion of the interview, Katie Tassoni stated that she would make decision and definitely get back to me that afternoon. This did not happen. I ended up calling the next afternoon to Juan Morano to check status. He informed me that Katie Tassoni decided to go with an other candidate. I found out that Juan Morano had called both my references and stated that he was eager to get me started on the job (day of my interview). So, I am left with this less than favorable impression of both of them and Insight Global. It appears that Insight Global was on a "fishing expedition" or I am a victim of age discrimination. Which is quite illegal but difficult to prove. I am more than qualified to do the said position. I am not impressed that my interview was at a food court and not in offices of Insight Global and I was called back for a slot that I was not initially selected for and then passed over. I had accepted a position at a start-up, something I was wary of, when InsightGlobal called me to interview at a client. I agreed and took the info. When I arrived, Aricka at IG had given me the wrong address (the position was in a different city next to where she said it was), the wrong IG rep name (it was actually a woman named ray), and a phone # that was disconnected. I called Aricka and she gave me the correct info. I got there and found the suite myself, Ray walked up after a cig just as the hiring manager walked up and introduced himself. She left, I interviewed, the client made me an offer. I had to negotiate with IG to get PTO, after showing them the initial rate we discussed was higher than what they were now offering. They agreed to the original rate and some PTO. I have seen ray come into the suite 3 times since my first day (when no one met me to walk me in on day 1!), each time she would spend time saying Hi to a guy here who never worked for IG, and walked right past me each time not even smiling. (I assume this meant she had no idea who I was) I was never visited or taken out for McDinalds or even given any IG logo-ed swag for x-mas (I didn't even get an e-mail for x-mas!). I sent Aricka a note to get PTO for Labor Day, which they paid. Aricka told me to use the notes section of the timesheet for PTO requests. I made several PTO requests over the next 6 months, noticing none of them were paid out. In Dec, my manager was off for the last 3 weeks. An IG HR person sent me a note telling me to get my timesheet approved. I forwarded it, and the replacement guy replied to IG HR that he approved the timesheets, and reminded them he still did not have the access he was supposed to have to approve. The next friday I did not get paid. I had to wait until the manager was back then they paid me. I asked at that time about the PTO and was told they never see the timesheet notes. I gave up and said I'll just take a check for whatever I have accrued in PTO when I get hired in directly and she said OK. Last week I was told by the client that when I get hired in, I will take a pay cut, something IG never mentioned to me and something I would not have accepted. I sent Aricka an email asking about this and requesting some items the client needed to start my on-boarding. Never got a reply. This morning I received an email from someone at IG saying there is a new PTO request process. I replied with the issues I had and I was told they would not pay out my PTO if I don't take it and they would only apply some of what I have accrued for any time I took off in the last month only. I was also told that Aricka no longer works for IG, despite never getting any undeliverable message in my inbox. Personally, I will never work for them again and HIGHLY suggest no one else does either. I will be forced into taking a pay cut to be hired. I will lose all my PTO accrued after refusal to apply it when requested. No one at IG has any idea who I am/don't acknowledge my existense when they do come by the office. I have never been taken out to even fast food, or even visited. Not even once. I have been treated terribly by IG. read more

I was contacted for an IT position of which led to a last minute interview. After the interview I was informed that they'll have their decision and I should hear from them the following week. That week has come and gone with no contact from the IG representative or from the company of which I interviewed. I have initiated contact 3 different times with no response. I have no respect for a company that cannot tell a person they did not get the position. Future clients of Insight Global may want to checkout the BBB complaints section before moving forward with this company. read more
