I went back to his office to ask questions and was told to schedule a meeting and come back later. I got frustrated and said I would not be coming back. He did not care as he already had her money. He told me he was busy and had another meeting. I waited outside his office for 20 minutes and no one came for a meeting. I found him to be arrogant and unwilling to work with me as a woman because he was very willing to work with my husband. I cannot recommend anyone less.

My ma has been trying to reach multiple real estate lawyers with no luck- not even a call back. To say she was getting frazzled is an understatement. I reached out on a whim to see if I could make a connection. After a quick conversation with the receptionist I was connected to Steve Schmidt. He spent over 30min (free of charge) on the phone with me -the daughter, not even the potential client- explaining the buyers side of a FSBO deal and how he can help. He spoke in terminology that made the process easy to understand and a stressful situation seem tangible. Excitedly, I pass Steve Schmidt's number on to my ma. He exceeded my expectations on the phone, but after he handled the process with my folks he set the bar (ha! pun intended) exceedingly high for any other lawyer. He has handled them as peers and treated them with patience. He is always quick to respond and forth coming about his availability (let them know he was on vacation and when he'd return). He took the time to explain a scary process for my folks who haven't bought a house in more than 30 years in a way that calmed nerves and wasn't belittling. I suppose as cliche as it is, this review is more of a public "thank you". Thank you Steve for all your help and kindness. Initially they offered me a wedding server job but then sent me to a garlic Factory but I specifically am not looking for food.jobs. I bumped my leg while turning around to quickly grab garlic bread off the conveyer belt which hurt longer than it should have on my shin. I never once was talked to about what kind of work I'm really looking for. I also never was asked to return but sent over by text a form to be hired at this garlic factory but I'd of liked at least a formal conversation about whether I'd want to instead of a just here hep fill this out. Staffing place like this needs better communication with me. Other than this I do think there is a need for people to work and get money just not sure hopping around from one job to another like a darn marionette is the way to go about and do so... on top of it they asked how my work week was at the factory as if they had had a conversation of me returning we didn't definitely something off about their company but I do respect what they are doing for the community...
