We loved it and were so happy that it delivered on taste and appearance. I also commend her communication with me and with answering my questions and meeting the deadline I set as well as adding in the additional details I wanted. Heck yeah we did, but Jessica came through clutch and picked the sauces she thought paired best with each meat and upon delivery, made sure we knew what was the best pairing. My god, was it perfect. The apple butter based sauce *was* perfect with the Turkey (and now i think it needs to be tried with the pork but i digress) and the Smokey hot bbq gave just the nicest spice for the tri tip. Barbecue in Downtown Huntington…read more I arrived in Huntington, and it was raining. Luckily, my hotel was right next door to Bask Smokehouse, and I decided to give it a shot. Bask was not that busy at the time I arrived, and I was seated right away. My server helped me pick some sides and gave me beer samples to try from a West Virginia craft brewery, and I decided on an IPA. My Main course was a 'two-meat' choice, and I ordered Tri-tip, sliced Smoked Turkey B with Braised kale and a sesame cucumber salad. The platter also came with five barbecue sauce samples, Texas Toast and a side of pickled onions and pickles. The turkey had a very nice smoked flavour, and the tri-tip was cooked to a medium rare, which helped keep it moist and full of flavour. The food was very good, and so was the service, and it helped that it was right next door to my hotel.

I lived in the tristate area until I was 25 years old but somehow missed out. During the first half of the football game I kept seeing fans walking back to their seats with a container that looked like it could be ice cream.
