His inspection was very thorough, and he caught a few issues with the water heater that I never would have noticed. He provided a great 16-page printed report at the end of the inspection with all of his findings and a few suggested upgrades to lower our heating bills as well as a few potential future trouble spots that we should keep an eye on. As out of state investors, we felt that it was important to have local knowledge in the evaluation of the property. Kyle inspected about 40 units for for us, quickly and efficiently. Unlike some inspectors we've used in the past he did not have to keep stopping to make notes but dictated his comments for later transcription. This is a real plus on a big job. His exterior inspection was also very detailed and focused on all of the health and safety issues that are critical to a potential landlord. Although we did not commission him to do this, he can also provide a report detailing the life expectancies for the major systems and budget amounts for their replacement. The report on the general condition of the property and the separate report on the units was exactly what a potential investor needs to see to make an informed decision. We selected Kyle to do this because one of his specialties is commercial properties and it shows in his work. I highly recommend him for commercial work and assume that his residential inspections would be just as detailed and useful.
