Inspection day - He arrived and took the time to perform the inspection by checking everything single item in the house. When he was done, he did a walkthrough with me. I learnt more about the property than I expected. A lot of surprises were found; there were things I would not have noticed if I didn't have him. Also, he was able to explain to me about items that I had questions. Another important point that I almost forgot to mention is that he takes pictures of all his does and provides comment and recommendations in the report. The report is easy to read. Thus, if you are looking for a home inspector, please don't look any further. Jim is an expert and will take care of you.

David's deep knowledge of the SLC market, consistent availability to answer our questions (even the simplest ones), and genuine attention to our needs makes him exceptional. His expertise, eye for detail, and dedication to his profession shone through at every step of the journey. David set up listing alerts for our broad search area and took us to see over 30 homes. He educated us on all the things we should expect from a house in our price range. This included the quality of cabinetry, appliances, flooring/ carpet, tile arrangement, the type of grout used and so on. He didn't shy away from pointing out deficiencies in a house that were not apparent to me or my wife. He has a teacher's mindset and really prepared us to identify the house that would be perfect for us such that we could quickly put in an offer when such a house was listed. He was able to give me a quote over text and could come out the next day!!! All of the other companies that bothered to reply couldn't come out for a week or more, and they gave a "starting" bid. Phil kept in constant communication with me. He let me know when he was on his way and when he would be arriving. He even arrived a little earlier than the window given. He walked the perimeter of the house, looked at all of my concerns, explained that what I thought were box elder were actually another beetle (no red x on their back). I knew of one area where wasps were getting in under the patio ceiling, and soffit around the house. Phil not only hit the entire perimeter of the house, yard, trees, and area where I knew the wasps to be, but he hit the entire soffit everywhere there was space to spray. He offered to come inside the house and spray all of window frames, but I didn't think it necessary. Needless to say, we had bug graveyards surrounding the house within a day. I did notice a few stragglers after about 5 days and when I asked him about it, he said he'd be out to do a second treatment. Full disclosure we have a lot of trees, of which some are growing over the house touching the roof above the window I noticed a few (like three instead of thirty) bugs hanging around. He offered to come inside and this time I said yes. He wore protective slippers over his shoes and hit every window in and door upstairs and down. I am SUPER pleased with not only his work, but his professionalism and personality. I HIGHLY recommend Ecoline Pest Control.

They were efficient, fairly priced and did their work quickly. After the work was done, they helped provide the documentation needed for the Dominion rebate which helped cover part of the cost for their work. I'm really looking forward to the lower gas bills that I expect to see during the coming winter months. They also do spray foam insulation jobs for those who may need that type of service.

I was extremely impressed with Realty Check Inspections. I had Nate do the inspection on our house purchase, and WOW, he did a fantastic job. The first thing that impressed me was the quickness with which he did the inspection. We promised the sellers that we could move quickly in buying the home, so that meant we had to get the inspection scheduled immediately. I called Nate on a Saturday, and he happily scheduled the inspection for the next Monday. Didn't even hesitate to schedule it on such short notice. On top of that, when he did the inspection, he was very thorough. He spent 3 hours at the house, combing through it, before he even had me over for a walk through of his findings. He took the time to do the job right, the first time. Once I was there for the walk through, he was completely professional. He had a printed out version of his report there, ready as we went through his findings. As we did the walk through, he explained everything clearly, concisely, and without any condescension. He spoke on my level and made sure I completely understood everything we discussed. The other thing that impressed me, was there was no scare tactics and no blowing things out of proportion. He was very realistic on his findings. When there was serious damage or the risk for serious damage, he acknowledged it and conveyed the seriousness; when there were things that needed to be fixed, but weren't as serious, he made sure I fully understood the situation so I could make an educated decision. This manner of prioritizing fixes, and helping me understand the gravity of them, really helped me to not be overwhelmed by it all. It gave me confidence that we had made the right decision in purchasing this house. I would recommend Nate and Realty Check Inspections to everyone and anyone. They were fantastic. read more

Bare electrical wire in large unfinished room down stairs Light sockets that were not tight Both Outdoor water sockets needed to be replaced Back door in garage that will not close and lock Soft spot on roof that needed to be fixed. Had we had known about these problems before we moved in they would of been fixed.
