The outdated, bulky learning material is pretty much useless. Mise well just Google all the answers. Trainers are booked out 3 weeks in advance to speak with them for 1 minute. Assignments take forever to mark. Admin want to make things difficult for you so they can send you constant emails letting you know you can spend money to extend your course. The online platform makes it near impossible to load your assignments from one cluster - their system only accepts 20 documents when the coursework makes you complete far more than 20, so you have to find alternative way to submit assignments. It like they will do everything in their power to prevent you from finishing so they can keep taking your money read more

I did the certificate lll in early childhood education and care online and I had both good and bad experience with them. The course content and material was good. However, trainees was not that helpful. Online courses can be little bit lonely. At last it's lot of work along with the placement and you don't realize the amout of work is left. But they didn't send me any tips to manage my time rather they sent me that $600 extension email frequently. read more

Not the best way you can do your course. I found inspire unhelpful at best. I struggled with their course for months. In comparison, I took the same course and finished it within two weeks elsewhere. I would suggest you do a search on Australian forums such as whirlpool before you consider any training company- you can find good reviews and people's experiences. Here is a list of problems I had. -The reading material/learner guide is not even in order and extremely over complicated. In comparison, in my other course I could copy / paste things from the learner guide, it was concise and easy to understand. -The technology on many occasions just didn't work. I found at least on 7 occasions, there were problems. There were problems with the limit of how many people could join (under 100), and twice there were problems such as 100 people's microphones being activated. One time, the lecturer didn't even show up because of daylight savings. -The video sessions are 100% not helpful. The guy you have will often not answer your questions during the session claiming "we already covered that." If you don't enter the course at the exact time it's covered, he won't be helping you. -Old, outdated video sessions are put online. If I miss a week, I can't see what I missed. Also, you can't download these for later use-meaning you'll be chewing up 1GB of your data limit every time. If my connection drops out, I have to then reload the video, and chew up even more data. -Instead of getting rid of students that were causing problems, the company's answer was to shut any communication between everyone and the trainer. Meaning you couldn't ask any questions. -The help forum is unhelpful. You'll notice there is a lack of previous student answers-something which other training companies will provide you with, because they're useful. I asked a question once, and my question was shut and answered elsewhere without any clear indication of why. Often questions on the forum are so vaguely answered you'll wonder why you bothered answering in the first place. It appears people's questions are deleted after a while, but if you read some of them they often that are up they're often "this was unhelpful, please help" after the forum admin answers. -Often you send a "how can we help you with your course?" email. This would be great if you meant it, but if you read further it says "do not respond to this email because we won't answer it." Edit to original answer: I am highly disappointed with Inspire's "answer" to this which they've now removed. I wrote to them letting them know how I felt over a month before posting the review, no response. Instead of listening to feedback here and on other sites and doing something about it, we get an official canned response a month later after my review when it's lost relevance. The response completely sidesteps responsibility and the points I made about areas they could improve. I don't write reviews so I can trash something, I write reviews so companies can improve on their service. I'd also like to make a second note. Once you finish the course, you'll still get course emails. I asked 4 times to be removed from these, since there is no unsubscribe link like companies are supposed to have in emails as described in the Spam act of 2003. read more

I enrolled with Inspire around Christmas 2013 (a special price for the course) to do a Cert IV in WHS, well from the start all was good and I sent in my first assignment and it was marked Eventually. Then as part of the course I was able to RPL sections, that's when the delays started. Emails were sent and eventually replied to all be it days later then I got an email from the Managing Director stating that ALL his assessors and trainers were away sick. I used to work with a large Registered Training Organisiation (RTO) and I know that you need things in place so that there is a fall back to rely upon to ensure students are not held back due to the systems failures. After I replied to Inspire stating what I had just mentioned all of a sudden the RPL was through and my course was complete. (Iwas very happy and surprised that it was so easy and Quick). I think they may struggle with keeping good assessment staff etc so that could be where the problem lies. I would say if you can get a similar deal elsewhere for about the same cost go for it. read more

I enrolled in Certificate IV in Business Administration in August 2014, looking to formalise my skillset. Instead I endured 2 months of complete frustration. The material should be online using moodle or equivalent. This would make it much more user friendly, it would flow instead of being very stagnate and difficult. Instead, Inspire Education require participants to access the material for this course by downloading word or 'writeable' PDF documents. These documents were locked down to the point where I was unable to even highlight relevant phrases to reference during the assessment. Research shows that highlighting material helps students learn and retain information. To complete an assignment for a subject, I had to download a word or PDF document, then I scrolled through 12 pages of uploading instructions and plagiarism warnings before I could even attempt a subject, this was for EVERY subject. One word/ PDF document was so locked down that I couldn't even type my name. The response back was that they did this to avoid plagiarism, my issue with this is that it is still plagiarism if I type it myself word for word, or if I can copy and paste. The Language, Literacy & Numeracy Evaluation contained issues as well, which seems strange given that there would have been MANY courses that this was a requirement for. One question did not offer a way to enter a response, while one very basic percentage calculation was assessed incorrectly because 'the question had been slightly changed'. This means that they don't proof read their own material and that the assessors aren't reading the actual question they are marking. The assessments took 31 days to be marked, they do advise that assessments will be marked within 6 weeks (which really is a long time), which means that it was just outside of the 30 days they offer a refund. Inspire Education responded to my complaint advising me that they had fixed the issue and unlocked the material more so that it was more user friendly; however they did try to make out that I wasn't capable of doing the course. They didn't say 'too stupid' but it was implied. 'Inspire Education' cannot offer material that flows in a logical of professional manner, they cannot be trusted. read more

Stay away from inspire education!!! I am very unhappy and disappointed with this service. Before I enrolled, I spoke with the student service operators who ensured me that I would have waited AT MOST 6 weeks to have a workbook marked. I also checked the students Handbook which indicated as waiting time for the marking "up to 6 weeks". This never happened. I always waited for more than 9 weeks and for some workbooks even 13 weeks..that means 3 months!!! Assessors are very rude and unprofessional. They took ages to reply and did not give any explanations about the delay. I would do not recommend inspire at all! read more

Completed a TAE 40110 with Inspire via online learning. The learning material was excellent and well structured. Support was available through online messaging and regular webinars. The assessment process was thorough but appropriate for the complexity of material. The assessors offered appropriate adjustments to allow for my particular needs, and responded quickly to any queries. All in all a positive experience. I am happy to recommend Inspire Education for this course. (Note that if you choose the 6 month online option, rip into it straight away because those last couple of months disappear without a trace! ) read more

Here is my review: Cert IV WHS - 6 week marking turn around. - Took 9 months to receive my certificate after quite a few messages on my behalf chasing it up. - Learning materials and assessments were thorough and easy to follow. Diploma of WHS - 24 hours to 2 week marking turn around. - I have not yet received my certificate but it has only been 1 month since I completed the course. I guess I have to wait 8 more months before I get it. - Learning materials and assessments were thorough and easy to follow. My experience with Inspire was incredibly awful; their training materials were indescribably appalling. Worse still they shortened the time I had available to do the course just a few weeks after I enrolled because they were discontinuing it. They imposed an early deadline on the assessment submissions but, despite me meeting their deadline, they took so long to mark my work that their own course expired in the meantime, so they told me that I couldn't get the qualification I had paid for. It took quite some time and hassle to get them to agree to mark my work and issue the certificate. I had to go to Fair Trading and ASQA. I received my qualification eventually, 5 months ago. Today, out of the blue, I received an automated email from their system telling me they have marked my assessment submissions, a full 6 months since I submitted them and months after receiving my certificate. Inspire Education is a low cost alternative to other RTO's. Due to the significantly lower costs (in some cases courses are more then half the cost that other RTO's charge) the onus is on the student to ensure they stay motivated and complete the course. Inspire Education's timeframes for marking assignments and responding to queries would be considered excessive when compared to others, however you get what you pay for. With a little bit of discipline and self motivation finishing a course with Inspire Education is definitely possible. read more

I am appalled with the course content and the continual liaising that occurs between numerous sections to obtain basic answers or information. If the trainers are going to critique the student on their language, literacy and numeracy skills then perhaps you should start by proof reading your own material, extend this to proof reading the messages that are pre-formatted and provided by the trainers and then consider training the staff in their individual areas so they have the knowledge to answer questions and provide advice. I basically marked my own work and had to ring continually to 'remind' them to mark my work. Once completed I continued to receive emails stating that I had not finished my course and had to apply for an extension. The issue behind this email was they were waiting for me to supply my RPL documents, although it was stated that I was not applying for any RPL recognition. I had to request my certificate over and over again before this was actually issued even though I had waited a month due to their error and then had to continually tell them how to do their job. I have made a formal complaint to ASQA and wouldn't study through them again if they were the last RTO on Earth. read more

Completed Certificate IV in Bookkeeping. I found the online at first a little scary but once I knew how to navigate it was a lot less stressful. Their resources and especially the multimedia file very helpful. Not coming from a bookkeeping background I found the course very informative and although I personally struggled because my other career is a graphic designer, I did eventually get my head around the units. It is a very exhaustive way to complete a Certificate IV course. The workbook material that is provided only correlates to the assessment questions for unit 1. Rather, for units 2-4 the assessment questions require research and the wording of the question is so broad that your answer does not match what the specific assessor wants. They make you pay upfront before you start your course (for the cheap) then the bureaucratic hurdles began. It takes over 6 weeks for assessment feedback so it delays your course further and then they want you to pay an extension fee. The marking criteria for the practical assessment to make a report was reminiscent of an university level assessment. The "webinar" sessions are highly un-useful way to understand materials in the course and they read out the information from Wikipedia almost verbatim. It is a business that makes people pay for dodgy courses, then the students out of frustration drop out. After my experience, all positive reviews of this "company/learning institution" are clearly paid and the writer is clearly needs to use a thesaurus. read more
