The "Vita Sana" Fitness Centre is definitely my all-time favorite gym, it has a comprehensive assortment of equipment, is well organized and maintained, and the staff are well trained and qualified. Some gyms are bigger, have way more equipment that is more modern as well (like the gym I go to in Calgary), but bigger isn't always better. At my usual gym things are always a mess; equipment is everywhere, people rarely wipe down machines after use and the staff rarely clean/maintain the gym. People at the Vita Sana Fitness Centre actually respect the gym and equipment, and they clean up after themselves. Plus the staff rarely clean/maintain the gym. Not only that, but their desk is right on the floor and they're always willing to help or give advice, and they're qualified to it! Although they don't have the best and brightest equipment their balance with the facility itself and the staff make them the best gym I've been to. There are term locker rentals as well, which eliminates the need to lug around your gear all the time. There are towel rentals and guest lockers as well. Prices are affordable with discount for students, alumni, family, other post-secondary, youth and senior. You have to pay for parking but evenings and weekends are free, and a parking pass is included with full-time membership. It can definitely get busy at times, but there are also a lot of downtimes. One thing I really enjoy is how seamless it is to expand your workout to other areas of the Centre. The indoor track is right above the gym and includes its own cardio equipment. The gymnasium is immediately next to it as is one of the multi-purpose studios and the climbing wall. You can also rent equipment like balls or rackets from the front desk. The aquatic facility is linked to the same locker room as the gym as well, so going from one to the other is effortless! There is also a sauna to relax in. They University of Lethbridge's Sport & Wellness centre is your one-stop shop for recreation! It's a great place to get in a workout, play some sports or team games and unwind. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone :), cheers!

We had some early success solving riddles and getting some keys which was great as it kept us motivated but it got progressively harder and we really had to think and work together and we continued to figure things out! If we wanted a tip we could ask for one (and did) but we were motivated to keep figuring it out on our own. There was some sophistication to things (no spoiler alert here!) which was intriguing and fun as well. We will go back and have no hesitation recommending Underground Escape!

I have been a member of Orange Theory for over six months now and I absolutely LOVE it! I have…read moretried several gyms and 'boot camps' in town and hadn't found anything that kept me motivated for more than a few months. Then a friend brought me in for a free trial workout and though I left feeling exhausted, and really sweaty, I was hooked. Each and every time you walk through the door you know you will be completing a different, yet challenging, workout. The coaches are there to encourage and push you, but they can also help modify the workouts to accommodate people of all fitness levels. That is one of my favorite things about OTF-there are people there of all shapes, sizes, ages and fitness levels, it is really a friendly, non-intimidating way of staying healthy and having fun! I always leave with a sweaty smile on my face, happy that I chose to make this change towards a healthier lifestyle.

What I like: It's a square park with a circular bike loop that you can just rip around full speed on your bike. What I don't like: There's a pretty good chance you're going to have to dodge a significant number of Lethbridge's homeless population when you do this. This is a great space and I'm glad that it exists in the city. From outdoor events of all shapes and sizes to aid in bringing people into the city's centre it's wonderful. It's just a shame that it mostly serves as a secondary homeless shelter instead of a community space...

I've visited others and there has been nothing in comparison. I have enjoyed taking many , many courses and have met lots of wonderful people. I've taken computer courses, painting courses, work out three times a week with a fully equipped gym and been on a lot of coach tours. I was so Blessed when Andrea offered a beginners class online during this isolation time. I have…read morewanted to join in her classes but I live in the US. I have been dealing with nerve damage due to a accident 8 years ago and many surgeries. After just one class with her she noticed what my body was having trouble doing and made adjustments so by the time if the end of the class my body truly relaxed and the spasms were not happening. I also for the first time in eight years was able to get up off the floor, by myself. The pain of kneeling, caused by my two knee replacements surgeries, following the accident, hasn't allowed me to do that without help from my husband. That was huge to me. I am so excited to start my continued online classes with her on next Monday. I have a routine that i would go in and do mindlessly everyday without paying attention for 7 months straight then i realized everything was switched around again and again and now my calves are MASSIVE but i got spaghetti legs and a girly voice. I have huge trapezius but teeny tiny delts and my clavicle and sternum keep snapping under the enormous weight my traps causing. Im all trap and calf for f sakes guys. Its a mess!! I don't get how this could be possible. PLEASE STOP MOVING MACHINES AROUND!!!! PS pls enforce the 30 mins per machine rule i seen a female version of John Goodman in there bogarting the legpress and the benchpress at the same time with her stuff on both for 2.5 hrs why is she benching anything anyways she needs to hit the elliptical for a 6 months straight. Non stop
