Language can be a barrier with some staff if you expect them to understand an entire English conversation. However, basic massage related words are totally understood. (She had taken all of her clothes off when she got undressed initially and then felt uncomfortable with that and put back on her underwear!) INSTINCT! I think this was somewhat of a "freeze" moment bc she felt uncomfortable the whole time . The masseuse: -did not have her fill out a waiver -made her take out cash from an ATM right on premises- would not accept credit card -burped twice over her face -hawked 2 lugees into the sink during the massage -completely pulled her towel off of her body at least three times during the session -rubbed oil on her and moved it around for an hour (clearly not trained in massage therapy) -straddled her head for part of the "massage" (while she was facing down) -bent her legs up backwards, pulled her hair, twisted her legs, pinched her Achilles tendons, pounded on her back so hard that it hurt -came back into the room while my friend was dressing and asked for a $20 tip -let someone else enter the room during the massage
