Unfortunately, once I closed on my home, many building issues became apparent. This agency was nowhere to be found, and I ended up fighting with the builder on my own. I spoke with several other agencies about the problems and they all responded, "WHERE IS YOUR AGENT?" I guess I didn't realize that it wasn't normal for an agent to disappear once their commission check has cleared, though I should have known. I did let my agent know every time I contacted the builder, with very few responses, mostly statements like "this still isn't done?". No, but thanks for the help....or non-help. In summary, they'll do a great job representing you while buying or selling a home, but don't expect them to stick around if there are any problems.
