However, the newer branch in Snellville, GA, needs to make some adjustments in regards to their ATM. About fifty percent of the time, that I have had to make a deposit at this ATM, "the machine was not accepting cash deposits at the time". It's extremely frustrating because the next closest location is in Suwanee, GA which is 12 miles away! That is absolutely ridiculous that anyone would have to drive an additional 20 minutes out of the way just to make cash deposits in the ATM. The weekends are the worst! On a side note, this location could stand to either hire sufficient staffing or stay open until 1 pm. It is nothing to go into this location on a Saturday morning and see the line almost out the door. Delta community really needs to consider putting up a free standing ATM or even another branch somewhere in between these locations to serve its growing customer base. In my past experience, limitations to access of banking facilities/services caused me to take my business elsewhere. I'm hoping that DCCU brings a quick resolution to this significant issue.

I was looking into a new construction home and the lender preferred insurance is Allstate for home insurance. My realtor contacted Allstate and then Kim Chapman called me to discuss. I mean, it doesn't hurt, right? The auto insurance rates are so much cheaper at Allstate. They cover more too!! I was so ready to switch over. As we waited for our home to close, we switched over. The quote I was given for a homeowners policy was fine, but they also bundled it with an auto policy that was ~$300/6 mos higher than we pay for with Progressive now. Fine, no big deal, so I asked for a quote on homeowners only. They wouldn't do it. All three times I talked to Kim or his assistant, all they wanted to talk about was auto insurance. His assistant David even LIED to me by claiming Allstate policy requires them to give me a $5k deductible on homeowners unless it's bundled with an auto policy. Not only does this make zero sense, I've also had no problem getting standalone quotes from other Allstate agents! Finally, today Kim had the nerve to call me while I was at work, pulled the details of our Progressive policy without permission, and proceeded to try to lecture me on how $50k liability coverage was inadequate because I might rear end a Mercedes at some point. Yes, Kim, I understand the concept of insurance and risk, there are trade-offs. I would advise anyone seeking insurance to avoid these jerks.
