I went with Instaprint after having some lackluster experiences with QSL only to find out that they are also owned by QSL. Like QSL, I would describe Instaprint as reasonably priced but unprofessional and disorganized. The left hand does not know what the right is doing, and often times it doesn't even know what the left hand is doing. This place lost track of my order two times. The first time, I called the day before the agreed due date only to find out nobody knew about my order. I was told they would call me back when they found it, but they didn't. I called back the next day and they apologized and said they found it but one of their machines was down so the order wouldn't be ready till next week. When I got the e-mail saying it was ready, I went to pick it up, only to find out nobody seemed to have a record of my order, nobody knew where it was, and when they did find it, apparently nobody knew how much to charge me for it. I could have just walked out the door without paying and they probably would have never figured it out given that they didn't seem to think my order existed in the first place. The final print quality was ok, but looked a little lackluster imo, but perhaps that is my fault and not theirs. The employees were apologetic and accommodating, so the customer service was fine, but my guess is that they aren't given the proper tools like a functioning CRM or training to use it. This experience is indicative of what happens every time I have worked with QSL and affiliates. I really want to shop local, but they make it hard to do so. If you choose to use this place, I encourage you to get quotes etc via e-mail so you have a written record of quoted amount and timelines promised. read more

This place has great quality prints. They are cheaper than FedEx office for an 11 x 17 color print, and the paper is higher quality. Now that I remember that this place is here, I will start doing business with them a lot more often. FedEx office is good if you need all the extra stuff, but if you need good customer service, and don't want to spend half again as much on copies, then you should go to Instaprint. read more

Other than the fact that it's a rip-off, and maybe a bit of a scam, the place is decent. If you have a black & white page to copy, and it's already the proper density, you can easily make a print yourself, and adjust the density yourself to make the second print perfect. Generally, for harder jobs, a staff member can help you get a print nearly perfect, on their 5th try or so. They advertise color prints at $.39 each. In all actuality, they cost $.59 each. Be sure to bring double the amount of money you expect to spend, since your print job may well cost double the advertised price. Also, be warned: If a staff member assists you in copying a page, and does a poor job, not getting the print light enough or dark enough, or colorful enough, or whathaveyou, their policy is to trash the copy, and charge you full price for it. And if it takes staff 4 attempts before they're able to get your copy to match the original color, you just got charged $2.36 for pages they threw away. Seriously. I was told "I'll have to charge you for these," as the staffer threw my copies in the recycling bin. I requested to have them back from the recycling bin, since i was being charged for the lot of the poor copies the staffer made. ::blink:: It's pretty close to where i live, so the few times i've needed copies, it's been my go-to. Buuut, this was the first time i've needed color copies, and since staff-members' lack of perfection costs customers money, i think i'll hop in the car and find a more consumer-friendly print spot from this point forward. read more

A bit rubbish really. I ordered a 3 fold flyer for a school project and paid 15 quid for 15 high quality prints (or so I thought) what I got was 20 poorly printed bits of crap paper, at what looks like half the size of an A4. My at home printer can do better! O well you get what you pay for I guess, just be aware of what your buying as they seem to be rubbish really read more

Pretty much the worst service I have ever been subjected too. First set of cards I ordered, I received 2 sets?! and both were for completely different people/companies, my designs were nowhere to be found. I called up and the girl on the phone was extremely unhelpful and uninterested with huffs and puffs down the line. Eventually they found the problem but insisted that I email them a further 3 times saying that I still wanted the cards even though I had expressed how important it was that these cards got to me ASAP, eventually arriving 4 days after supposed delivery date. I however decided that maybe it was a one off and just one giant cock up. How wrong I was. the second set I ordered are now 4 days late. No sign of any explanation, no emails or calls to say why. I have had to now email you for a second time. How can a company be so bereft of competence and so oblivious to such poor customer service? read more

First time working with Instaprint. I walked in on a Tuesday, explained that I needed varying sized prints of my artwork for an event by the end of the week. Since they were larger prints, they assigned Brandon to the job. Brandon went over the different types of paper they had available, and the pricing, and what kind of files to send over. I was unable to get the files to them before they closed that day, and sent them that evening via email. I didn't hear back from them until the next afternoon, and was sweating it a bit, as I had to have the job done by Friday. Brandon sent me the final price before proceeding. Once approved, he assured me he would have the job done by Friday, as they were closed on the weekend. Friday afternoon, I walked into Instaprint unannounced, and the young woman at the counter had seen me pull into the parking lot...remembered me from Tuesday...and had my print job waiting at the counter for me!!! Amazing service, and will most definitely be using Instaprint for future needs!! read more

Instaprint is the only print shop that I will use in Eugene. As an architect and graphic designer I've used pretty much every shop in town and have had horrible experiences at nearly every shop. Most produce inferior quality work, have terrible customer service, are slow and over priced. Instaprint is none of that. Instaprint is abundant with top notch customer service the minute you walk in the door. They are there to find a solution tailored exactly to your needs.
