So apparently when you make a payment online, despite all the evidence showing that you paid on the…read moredue date, they won't process your payment till the day after. Which means they will cancel your policy for one whole day. They did not notify me of my cancelled policy, but they did notify the NY DMV. I didn't find out about my cancelled policy or my suspended registration till a month later when I came back from vacation & checked my mail. Which pretty much means that my State Farm agent let me drive uninsured for one whole day. I took time off of work just to drive down to their agency & show them the confirmation number, & online account statement that shows that I paid on time, but they told me that there was nothing to do, so my car registration got suspended even though I paid on time. The best part is that my one day suspension turned in a three day suspension because I turned the plates in on Thursday, which means I can't reclaim them until Saturday, except the DMV is closed on the weekends, which means I have to wait till today Monday. But wait there's more. I still can't reclaim my plates & car registration because the James O'Brien agency were suspoded to reissue me a new insurance ID card that states my new reinstated coverage. Which means the start date HAS to read the date after my policy was cancelled. Thanks James O'Brien for wasting my time & taking my money.

Ever since Sterling took over our HELOC it has been a nightmare. First the loan was not processed…read moreover correctly so when we tried to pay we couldn't because the loan was "closed". It took two months of calling and almost 20 hours on the phone plus 2 in person visits to get it all resolved. a few months later they started asking for money to pay our homeowners insurance which was and always has been paid through our primary mortgage. After another 14 hours on the phone in an attempt to get this handled, we were not able to pay the bill because they considered the payment without the insurance payment to a partial payment. We sent proof that our insurance had been paid. We were then told it would be off our account and we would be able to pay it tomorrow. There were three more calls after that and they all ended with "it will be off your account tomorrow." Almost four weeks later, someone was able to take our payment without the insurance. So we are paid up. As for the payment for our Home Owners's insurance, we've been told "It will be off your account tomorrow." If nothing else, they are consistant.
