I don't recommend at all. I thought bringing my policies to a family owned/smaller business would…read moreprovide better service and attention to detail but that has not been the case. The quotes were really good, so I decided to switch a few of my policies over and it has been nothing but a hassle. I have to constantly send reminders for quotes until literally the last day of a policy end date to get a quote. Matt says one thing but doesn't seem to follow through unless you pester him. The final straw for me was 2 major things that have never happened to me before. 1) Malloy not submitting my proof of insurance to my mortgage and my mortgage company threatening to charge me for their own insurance. Matt assured me he would do on June 14, 2023 but on July 10, 2023 I got a final notice that I needed to submit the proof of insurance. Matt was of course on vacation, so I had to call and make sure this got done with someone else. My previous brokers would do this automatically and include my mortgage onto the policy so they would get the proof automatically. The kicker in this was that all they needed was the certificate to be emailed. Matt said he would do it but that never happened. I don't know why I never followed up. I really thought he would do it since its important. My mistake! I also finally paid the premium a month later when getting the certificate. 2) I have been asking for a quote on anther property that I have insured with them since June 14, 2023 for the renewal date of July 30, 2023. Matt said he would look into for me. With my past brokers I always get a renewal notice 60 days in advance with the new premium price so get ample time to price it out. Matt never got back to me so I called the office on July 17, 2023 and to my SURPRISE! my policy was cancelled in October 2022 without my knowledge. Basically, I was without home insurance for that property since October of 2022. I asked why I never got any notification and Suzanne told me that they sent a notice to the investment address. Now my mailing address which they should have on file is not this investment address but a PO Box. So now I have to wait to see if they can re-send me my refund check. I just don't understand why Malloy did not contact me directly regarding the cancellation. My previous brokers would have emailed me directly and helped make other arrangements for insurance. I won't be renewing this property with Malloy. This is my final straw. I don't have any confidence in doing business with them anymore. I will hold out until all my policies are expired and just stick with my previous brokers. To not be notified that my policy was cancelled is just not acceptable to me. The broker I use should be on top of these policies to make sure there are no problems. This is my honest and real experience.

I have historically used State Farm for my insurance needs, but for whatever reason getting…read moreinsurance for my girlfriend's engagement ring from this office was no easy task. I never spoke with Dan directly, but his employees were generally unresponsive and clearly going through the motions. My application was eventually denied bc the ring appraisal wasn't descriptive enough, but no one from Dan's office was in contact with me throughout the process so I could tailor the appraisal to the underwriter's specifications. Instead, I was notified after the fact when it was too late. The appraisal description was updated within a couple of days by my jeweler, but I choose to switch to a different State Farm agent rather than re-apply with Dan bc the whole experience left me with little confidence in this office addressing future needs (e.g., home, car, etc). It has been 6 weeks and I still haven't been refunded the premium I pre-paid with my original insurance application.

I called to clarify a charge on my father's bill for "Instant Answer Term Insurance," something we never requested and that my father had declined multiple times. When I asked about it, Francisco claimed this insurance would give us a 25% auto discount and mentioned an email that was supposedly sent in February. Well, guess what? There was no such email, and nothing in my father's documents mentioned this either. When I pointed this out, instead of helping, Francisco got defensive and downright hostile. He even used some inappropriate language, which was completely unprofessional. This is not the kind of service I expected from State Farm. I hope they take this matter seriously and address this issue. If you're considering this agent, I'd recommend you think twice.

They never return phone calls or follow up with things they say they will do. I had to cancel a policy, left a message, no reply. I have to call again to make sure they cancel, and they say oh we didn't cancel because we couldn't get ahold of you. When you tell them you are frustrated , they say " sorry you feel that way"- no attempt to better their service at all. We went to State Farm and are very happy with them.
