I'm like I just updated my information and I'm told there is NO record of that conversation. Well that's reassuring (not). I called before my next payment to try to cancel my policy. I was told I had to come in person to fill out some paperwork. I explained that I have moved to Michigan which is a 6 hour drive and I no longer own the vehicle. The representative told me the only other option I had was to let the payment pass and after a month it will cancel on its own. To my surprise I was charged for the policy a few weeks afterwards. I called and explained my situation. They explained that if I could show proof that I sold my vehicle they could refund me the last payment. I didn't even have proof of payment as I sold it to a stranger as a 3rd party sell. It's not like I received a receipt of the sale. They said I could have send a letter explains I wanted to cancel my policy with my signature!!!!! How the fuck are they going to tell me that when they are emailing me the paper work for me to sign right now!!!!!.... Why the fuck didn't the last agent tell me he could have emailed me the paperwork!!!!! So now this company has taken a payment out of my account when I was told I wasn't in autopay and no refund is available. This whole business is a shit show and I would recommend everyone going to find another insurance company.
