That's not the balance that's shown on the paperwork they gave her on her first visit. I think they might be trying to scam people here. When she told them she wanted to cancel the policy they told her they would be reporting her to the secretary of state? Reporting what exactly? This was a scare tactic. They're scammers and they try to intimidate people here. I will be filing a report with the DOI. They also didn't give her her money back when they canceled her policy even though she paid cash. They told her to expect a check in 2 weeks so we will report back on the status. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS

They don't respond via email at all, and customer service cannot handle concerns. I was placed on hold for 20 minutes, and therefore, my interest working with them has changed. I have canceled my policy. I was expecting my $200.00 down payment back, as it was stated in the contract that they would refund this amount so long as I canceled the policy within 30 days. When calling the company on the 21st day they informed me that I would only receive $15.00 back. Would highly recommend not using their service and I do not want to report this to Attorney general, however, this is unacceptable and correction should be made.

Talro, is an insurance BROKER they try and find you the most ECONOMICAL RATES And thats not a bad thing they deal with smaller INSURANCE companies whom they have contracts with. They deal with affordable insurance RATES. but are the best no not really. You get what you pay for. The only thing the STAFF can do is take payments, issue policies, and etc. TALRO does not handle the claims; for example I was with DIRECT AUTO my vehicle was involved in an ACCIDENT. I contact DIRECT (Insurance Company) to handle the CLAIMS not TALRO (Broker). If I couldnt get a hold of DIRECT AUTO a manager named (Santiago) helped me, The Waukegan Staff was also very helpful. So, again I haven't had any issues with claims or anything just like with any insurance; HEALTH, LIFE, WARRANTY, they all take awhile to payout even ALLSTATE, STATEFARM, AMERICAN FAMILY(American Family, took almost a month to send out my payout check to my lienholder), so it is not just TALRO. Nothing but great experiences with TALRO.
