I really love many things about this business. They have a hugely diverse menu, so there truly is something for everyone. They have a range of sizes and are really helpful about taking a 16oz drink and splitting it into two 8oz cups for kid and elder sizes. They have dairy free options and lots of fresh pressed juices also. They also sell those breakfast bowls of a thicker smoothie with fresh fruit. I ordered a juice here for my 5yo daughter. She totally liked it and slurped the whole 16oz right down. The service was great. The reason I'm giving 2 stars is because these folks use styrofoam cups. When there are so many recyclable and compostable options out there, why are you still using styrofoam which will never biodegrade and but will end up in our food chain? I get that it insulates the drink and keeps it cold. But come on. I think any responsible business has to work harder to find an alternative. So many other smoothy places use compostable plastic. Not thrilled. I ordered a dairy-free version of one of their smoothies, but it might as well have been an agua fresca--it was mostly water with a tiny amount fruit juice in it. It seriously tasted like someone had drunk a smoothie from the cup, then filled the cup with water to rinse it, and handed it to me. Almost no flavour, and what was there tasted stale/long frozen. We were craving a smoothie and we didn't want to go any chains we were use to, aka Jamba Juice. We decided to stop here and it was the first time for all 3 of us. My 5 star rating is because I love my flavor I picked and the staff was super nice! I got the Hawaiian dream and it was delicious and refreshing. The first sip was I tasted mango (lol all the flavors I decribe or not even in the smoothie) and yummy, as I kept sipping it started to taste like orange juice. Even though it's only passion fruit, pineapple and banana. Wierd right that I would taste different flavors. I thought it was wonderful. I wish I took a picture of the menu and the options. I purchased the 16 oz which comes with a free shot of an additive and as you get bigger cups, you get 1 more shot of extra stuff like energy boose, relaxer, even probiotic. They have many to choose from and all the extra information of what each does for you is taped on the counter. My friend ordered the choc-o-nutter and said it was too peanut buttery but still good. My bf ordered the banana berry burst and I took a sip and it was okay, maybe too much yogurt or milk. But again mine was delicious so I only based it on my experience. I went to Inta Juice for breakfast. I ordered a bowl and requested my own juice.. my bill was $17 . I was on a call and did not taste immediately. My juice has cucumber in it. It was so bitter. That bitter taste that a cucumber has when it's bad. I tasted it 1/2 way home. I live in firestone so I wasn't about to return back that day. In my adventures to find good wholesome food that isn't packaged, sealed, pasteurized, maimed, slaughtered, altered genetically, or any other sort of Frankenstein type assimilation, I rely on fruits and vegetables to be a main source of my nutrition. It's hard sometimes to find a place that caters to this type of mentality and that lasts more than 2 months. Well, look no further, Inta Juice is the place. They actually have a juicer that juices greens, what a concept here in Longmont. Their wheatgrass shots are priced well and even though I recall Redbull in one of their concoctions , I still think this place rocks! I will be going back to Inta juice for wheatgrass and more in the future because I know they will still be there for a long time coming. I stopped here this morning because I ran out of stuff to make smoothies at home and was craving one like crazy. So I picked one up on the way to work and, an hour later, am still trying to finish this smoothie. The will power needed is pretty amazing. My #1 problem: All I taste is sugar. In theory I got a smoothie with strawberries, bananas, raspberries, and oranges. And it's basically the same degree of flavor you get from a cup of Dannon yogurt which is definitely not what I expect from a good smoothie. No natural sweetness and seeds from the berries, no perky citrus zest from the orange, no mellow smoothness from the bananas. There were a few frozen chunks that hadn't been fully blended in and they were completely leeched of flavor. I went through the drive-thru so I didn't watch them actually make the smoothie, but the fact their window that you can see into is lined with cups and not fresh fruit (or even fake fruit, geez, anything but cups) is a decent indicator that they don't invest in good product, or if they do (which I doubt) they don't make a big deal out of it. I visited their website to get a better idea of their flavor choices and as a designer I would like to say their site is a total abomination. Whimsical Flash graphics + fonts like Hobo effective marketing. I normally don't judge a business by their website but if they are employing designers who do this kind of junk then something tells me they also didn't invest a great deal of thought into their drinks. They use a centrifugal juicer, and the vegetable options are: carrot, celery, cucumber, or beet. They've got wheatgrass too. I'd be super excited about this place if it were to offer an extended selection of juiceables, and if they were to put together a menu of interesting juice combos. They close the lobby at lunch because they don't have enough staff to run it. So cars line up in drive through waiting. The worst part no sign so you park and walk up and go in to be told Lobby closed. To me that means no sale and lost revenue. Great place for great smoothies--so much better than jamba juice. For the person (Morgan) who didn't enjoy her smoothie--I enjoy the ones made with nonfat vanilla yogurt instead of sherbert for that very reason. They definitely use fruit and lots of it, but the sherbert ones tend to have a sweeter taste for those who enjoy that. If you really want a healthy treat, try either the Pikes Peak (I watched them juice TONS of veggies for my smoothie) or the Veggie Energizer. Yum Yum!
