10.11.21 - Beach Bowl with Coconut

Ummm.. Where has Rush Bowls been all my life? Like seriously, I've been missing out. Fruits, veggies and all things healthy. I'm in! Not to mention, it's a fast and easy alternative to fast food. When I walked in there was no one else in the establishment except for the two staff members. I was greeted upon entry and browsed the menu for a bit. They offer a lot of rush bowls and smoothies, none of which you can go wrong with. I like how they have three categories for the bowls and smoothies too which are destination, endurance and wellness. You can choose according to what your needs are or based on what sounds good together. Additionally, you can add boosts in your bowl or smoothie, some which include protein, antioxidants, or fiber at an extra cost. There is only two places to sit, which are quite small. So basically this is a order and go kind of place. There is a nice big patio out front where you can sit and hang if you're not in a rush. This is such a great way to start your morning or even finish your day. All of the ingredients are fresh and taste incredible together. I ordered the beach bowl and added coconut for my extra topping and man what a pairing. I will be craving this bowl for weeks to come. Too bad there isn't a location that's closer to me. I didn't mind paying just under $11 for the rush bowl because the ingredients were healthy and the portion size was more than I could handle. Overall, this was a great stop before my morning hike and it gave me the energy I needed to start out my day.

My previous visit was a bad one so it's taken me over a year to return. While having coffee at the joint next door I was intrigued by the promotional poster showcasing the "Kreamsicle" bowl. The idea of a throwback Orange-creamsicle-in-a-smoothie enticed me to give Rush bowls another try. So my husband and I decided to make a Saturday morning run/smoothie bowl date of it. Upon arriving at rush bowls, I grabbed a table outside and my husband went in to order. Happy to report the staff this time around was friendly and helpful. No scowls. The Kreamsicle bowl we came for had just been rotated off the seasonal menu, but she was kind enough to make it for us anyway. What a tasty relief! Rush bowls are refreshing and delicious - I'm thrilled the staffing has improved since our last visit. Please keep it up!

I got lucky there was none i front of me, at 2 pm Saturday. Bowl was excellent, not too sweet just the way I like it. Plenty of selections, you must try. A bowl with tax comes up like $ 11.59

Great bowls and smoothies. I love the PB&J bowl - especially with Nutella on top. They even grind fresh peanut butter!

8/3 - The two guys working tonight were super helpful and kind! Our bowls are delish!

Rushbowls is really yummy! They have a lot of options to pick from & fresh ingredients! This is a nice place for a snack or lunch type of option. Smoothies and bowls to cure your healthy appetite. This is a refreshing place because every other smoothie place has added stuff that no one needs in their bodies. Whenever you are craving something light and healthy, think of Rushbowls!

Interesting concept for a meal. Wish they had more vegetable-based options like inta-juice. Flavors were fresh and staff was friendly.

Rushbowls is simply delicious! They offer healthy meal replacement bowls and smoothies that include a wide range of bases including acai, yogurt, juice, or milk. Their menu truly has something for everyone. I have a deep love for acai so I tried the Beach Bowl and added strawberries and blueberries. It was a dynamite meal and very filling! Do note, the bowl toppings are extra but so worth it. Topping offerings include items like strawberries, blueberries, bananas, chia seeds, almonds, coconut and freshly ground peanut butter. Next time, I have to try the peanut butter because it looked incredible.

Good thing they have take away menus, a little light reading in preparation for the next visit!

The new space is bright, light and filled with fun decorator touches and happy, helpful employees. They offer fruit inspired goodness; you can get three add-ons in addition, allowing customizations to your exact liking. They also offer nonfat, soy, almond, and coconut milk options on their creamy side of the menu, and those are just the ones I can remember! If you like good food presented in an artful way, you are going to love Rush Bowl! One of our group members finished eating and exclaimed, "I feel like I could change the world now." If "Change the world" is on your To-Do list, you're going to need some fuel for your body, but we wouldn't change a thing about Rush Bowls!

Amazing smoothie bowls!! I got the Yoga power bowl with peanut butter added on. The peanut butter is freshly made and delicious! The bowls come in easily portable containers, so it's easy to take it and drive home to eat later or eat in the car. The pricing is reasonable considering how much is in the bowl and the fresh ingredients. Service was fast and friendly. Will be coming back.

Great healthy meal - yes it is a meal that's really filling. First time checking this place out. Glad to see this kind of heathy food option in FTC. It's perfect if you want to go light for lunch or dinner. I didn't expect I was going to be full after eating it.Thought it s more like dessert. I was totally wrong as it was so filling and didn't feel it was too much on my body. Will be great after working out as the bowl contains all nutrients you need. I think I can eat it as a dessert by splitting with another person too. I got the Beach bowl as I am a berry person. The three toppings I chose were the home made peanut butter, flax seeds and strawberries. My bowl was really good. All mixed well together. I doubted myself earlier whether I was going to finish it but I did! The peanut butter was really delicious and fresh. Saw the machine that they homemade it so I tried it out. Yummy! Great place to hang with friends in a relaxing day. They have an outside seating area too. Or I guess after you have some beers at DC Oaks next door you can get a dessert here.

Peanut Butter and Jelly bowl - very tasty!

While interested in the tuna sandwich, I was really hungry, so I got an omelette instead. As it turns out, judging by the size of my wife's chicken salad sandwich and fries, the tuna likely would've been plenty for me, and I'll try it on a future visit. My omelette (with cheese, spinach, mushrooms, and onions) was fine, but nothing unusual from an omelette you'd get elsewhere. Home fries and ciabatta toast were both really good too. Coffee was delicious. Speaking of the chicken salad sandwich, my wife enjoyed it on her first visit too and was equally impressed this time. Definitely a big sandwich. I'm sure she'll get it again.

Thankfully, it was a beautiful February day, and we enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine while we waited. The restaurant isn't very big, so it's a little bit noisy. But the wallpaper is really beautiful and it fits the theme very well. Some of the things highlighted in other reviews include homemade bread and homemade hot sauce. I'm not a hot sauce eater, so I can't weigh in on that. The fresh bread was pretty awesome. The fresh jam was Cherry vanilla, which neither of us liked very much. It tasted too much like pie filling, and the texture was off. My husband enjoyed his chicken fried steak immensely. My breakfast, which included a large pancake, an egg and a link of sausage was priced at $10 which was an amazing price. Both of us went home with leftovers. Our server was friendly and attentive. She may have had a bit too much energy if I'm being honest, but I'd rather that than someone who is lackluster and boring!

I've visited to try out their vegan/vegetarian options when I'm in the mood to eat something lighter or focus on plant-based meals since they're known for their accommodating menu. I've tried the falafel wrap, the scrambled tofu, and the vegan breakfast burrito. I've also tried their golden milk latte. I love turmeric/golden milk lattes so I was excited to try it here. It was okay, but a little too grainy for my taste. The service is fine, but nothing stands out about it. You arrive, place your order, and they'll deliver to your table or give you a buzzer so you can pick up. The restaurant itself is charming, bright, and clean. It has a really great vibe. The best part is the popular patio area especially on beautiful, sunny days. Rainbow is a good restaurant, just not for me.

There's plenty of seating available including outdoor seating which was nice. The service was good. Our server was attentive, friendly, and helpful. Rated this place a 3 because of the food. We ordered the Undecided Benedict which includes two poached eggs, one with smoked ham and classic hollandaise, and the other egg with house made sausage gravy; Both eggs served on a toasted English muffin with Rise potato (hash browns served like a muffin) The Rise potato was burnt all around the sides and the top so really only the middle part was edible. The Benedicts were mediocre so nothing really stood out about that dish. We also got the Rajas and Eggs which is Rajas (spicy blend of roasted poblanos, redskin potatoes, onions, seasoning), two scrambled eggs, pico de gallo, roasted red pepper coulis, corn tortillas. I had high hopes for the Rajas and Eggs with the mention of spices, veggies, seasonings. Overall, I wouldn't order this dish again. I ended up leaving half of my breakfast because it wasn't appetizing to me. Maybe it's lacking a different texture? Seems like it's all the same with the scrambled eggs, the rajas, and the red pepper coulis.
