I visited Integra Health with my fiancé sometime ago to see a doctor but after my experience I vowed never to go back. I initially said I wasn't going to write about my experience, just move on but this might help to caution someone. Wait time (10/10) Prompt service, this was good! Receptionist- (10/10) indian girl (sorry, didn't catch the name) was great, she was patient and knowledgeable. Doctor (1/10)- Dr. Faryani Vayani was not good at all, to the point where me and my fiancé looked at each other in disbelief. From the moment she stepped in the room, didn't introduce herself, no eye contact- went straight to my chart history and said she's seeing nothing wrong, why am I here today. I felt as if our presence pissed her off or probably she had a bad day- didn't have lunch IDK. Whatever it was, it was wrong on so many levels. I asked her to check my charts again as you can see my prolactin levels is more than 10 times the normal levels, then she said "oh" and proceeded to have a better attitude when she realized she made a mistake. I want people to understand that having 2nd and 3rd diagnoses (if possible) is safer than 1. Doctors are 1 part of the equation, the other part is -you. you have to be invested in your health and know what's going on yourself- research, Doctors have social media accounts- relay problems to them, sometimes they'll make a video or msg you directly.. there's plenty of options, just TRY, TRY, TRY and don't be afraid to ask questions. I could have had a very serious illness overlooked because somebody was having a bad day! Doctors are people too. I have the utmost respect for the profession- you can know when some people are born for it because their presence in itself is warm and inviting- this is different from being professional of which I experienced neither with this Doctor. Sorry she had a bad day but this behaviour is inexcusable and the company lost a patient because of this. Misdiagnosis is REAL and has caused countless lives of people who were loved, and have family who wanted them around. Go somewhere where you are treated with respect and your health issues are not scantily disregarded. If there is a red flag, and start looking for another doctor's opinion just in case. read more

Another extremely disappointing exchange with Integra Health. My appointment was rescheduled twice, in person, by one of their team members. The day of the appointment I have a missed call from Integra, no voicemail. I call back four hours later to ask if it was in regards to my appointment this evening. They tell me there is no one available as they booked the wrong location. This is infuriating. This is the second time they have rescheduled my appointment, and this time due to someone overlooking where they booked it and staff availability. I received a CONFIRMATION email with the date, time and LOCATION. How is it only when I call, the day of the appointment, that someone realizes there is no staff available? In addition the team member tells me my voicemail was full. It was not. I had someone call me after they did and they were able to leave a message. Was no one going to call back? Send an email? I was going to waste my time going there for an appointment that they knew wasn't going to happen? read more

Staff is extremely rude and unhelpful in supporting patients get the care they need. They nickle and dime you every prescription /request.

The phone receptionist is very rude and inefficient. I think that he could use a lesson in customer service. The first person that a client deals with should be able to deal with people in a friendly manner. Also, they should be able to think for themselves and use a bit of common sense. My review is about their location in the path, but it seems like everyone is reviewing the clinic here, so I will do so myself. I've been going to Integra for a few months and have not been impressed with their doctors (rude and obnoxious people). I was initially seeing Dr. Zhang and she left the practice. She wasn't great and I was planning on changing doctors, but she left before I did so. I am now seeing doctor Weste and quite frankly I am not very impressed with her attitude. I look for knowledge and kindness in a doctor and she seems to be lacking both. I initially found her very kind and knowledgeable. I saw her again yesterday and she was extremely rude and condescending. She was 20 minutes late to our appointment (which I can understand because of the nature of her job), but she then rushed me during our appointment and barely answered my questions (she was changing my contraceptive method, so I obviously had some questions about the effects on my body and she was absolutely no help). On tHe other hand doctor Louis who is a psychotherapist was incredible! My benefits don't cover her services so I had to stop seeing her, but I would recommend her for anyone who has insurance coverage for her services. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Sarah Cook since she was at Emriko; it's been about 4-5 years. When she moved to Integra, I followed, and my experience has been positive. The location is easily accessible, and their hours are very convenient - which is not very common. Even if your doctor is away, one of the other doctors will see you, no problem. I've had great experience from everyone I dealt with at Integra. They have a good electronic health record system, and the doctors can easily go in to see your records. The prescriptions are printed and signed by the doctors. For blood work, they have a resident nurse who will take the blood right after your appointment, so you don't have to go to another lab for testing. I've never had any issues with this. Another things that I found very helpful was the communication. For simple things, they've provided me results over the phone, instead of calling me in to tell me "everything is fine" - which my old doctor used to do all the time! I've also called them to clarify things, or get documents, and sometimes they are able to send them via email. (This really depends on the type of doc/results you are looking for. For certain things, you would have to go in.) I've never had to deal with them financially. For a busy office, they do very well to limit wait times and make sure there is a good flow. If you are looking for a General Practitioner, I highly recommend Integra. read more

The best thing about this clinic is that it is located in the PATH but that being said, it's so busy you will need to book appointments in advance. I was in need of a family doctor, requested to see one last year that was still accepting patients and when it came to my appointment, I got an email saying that she is no longer practising with the clinic. I was told that they would put me back on the waiting list and fast forward to a year, I get an email that they opened a new clinic in the concourse with new doctors that are accepting patients. Called in to make my appointment and got to see Dr. Zhang the following week. Trying to find this place was a headache but there was no waiting time at all which was nice. Dr. Zhang was extremely nice and happy to have her as my permanent doctor. She is easy to speak to and super professional. Since it was my first meet and greet, she suggested that I get some blood work done - usually it takes me a week to mentally prepare myself but I didn't want to waste anymore time at work. I was already at edge because I hate getting my blood done. The nurse that was doing the bloodtest was absolutely amazing. She read me very well, took me to a room and laid me down to take the viles of blood. She was super quick and gentle and made me feel at ease. She used the baby needle and I felt nothing but a pinch but she talked me through it and my anxiety was tamed. After that, I feel like I can easily get my blood done if it was her. What's not to like? You can book appointments online, walk in appointments allowed. Great doctors and nurses. Convenient location. Later Yelpers. read more

I also discovered that they ignored a recommendation from a specialist they referred me to. The specialist advised my Integra doctor that I needed a bone scan and the doctor never told me. Was searching through open care for family doctors and came across integra health centre. On their website it says accepting new patients for all services so I fill out the new patient form. Get an email back saying they're not accepting new patients? But walk in appointments are available? There's a lot of mixed messages I'm getting from this practice and I'm not even their patient-can only imagine what would happen as their "client" (apparently patients are clients at integra according to their responses on google reviews). read more

-10 stars. At the beginning of March 2022, I was misdiagnosed with a 'strained hamstring' by a physiotherapist here at Integra Health. After wasting all my physiotherapist benefits on what I thought was a strained hamstring at the time (because I was diagnosed by a "professional") I eventually sought a second opinion as I still didn't feel right after a few months back training (which I was instructed to do!!). I got an MRI 5 months later and it showed that I had a torn ACL the whole time. Now, I await surgery and will not be back in time for my next playing season. Do not waste your money on physiotherapy at Integra Health. Incompetent and too eager to take your money. read more

Be careful if you are dealing with refunds/credits with this place. Integra seems very disorganized. I was informed that I will receive a refund as soon as I show my renewed health card for my doctor's visit. Since then, it has been 3 months and it is taking me more than 5 phone calls and 2 in-person visits to receive a cheque (couldn't do refund via the card machine). Ridiculous. Complete lack of Client Service and scamming people of their money. I requested for a full body physical with my GP and the front desk said they would look into the GP's schedule and get back to me. I even followed up with them after couple of weeks via email and there was no response. One fine day, i get a call from the front desk that you have a missed appointment and your credit card will be charged $90. There was no confirmation and text reminder of the appointment. When i called them up to ask about the charge on my credit card they put me on unending hold for 3 times before i had to intervene. Even after explaining them the entire situation the front desk was rude and giving me the run around about the whole situation. Dr. Burton has been incredibly flippant about my concerns. She also didn't share the recommendations from my specialist, insisting I get them myself even though the office already has them and the specialist said the doctor would provide a copy for me. It turned out she didn't want to follow through on one of his recommendations, even though I've talked to the specialist about my condition longer than I have ever interacted with this doctor. Incredibly disappointing to see this behaviour from someone who works with vulnerable groups. read more

I contacted seeing their online advertising with "accepting new patients". On April 2nd I called seeking a family doctor only to be told that all appointments are already booked for the month. So I got put on the new patient wait list. The irony when you see their email signature as still "accept ting new patients:" The front desk was rude, giving off an attitude of "oh we have so my patients I don't even want to ask for your info, but I will just tell you we added you on the wait list" Today, April 21st, they sent out an email saying there is a new doctor, with extreme booking guidelines (see photo uploaded). I can believe this is how a doctors office do business these days. It is almost as if they are auctioning spots off for you to win 1 million dollars. Anyways, I'm not going to be visiting integra as a client seeing the quality of service I will be receiving is pretty much non existent. DO NOT GO TO COMMERCE COURT LOCATION!!! Shittiest customer service I have ever received!! I had read great reviews about the Exchange Tower location so i was super excited when I was told there was an opening for a family doctor at the Commerce Court location. However the staff is rude, unresponsive, and extremely unhelpful. I had an appointment with a doctor that I missed as I was in a meeting - however there is a 20 minute grace period. During that 20 min grace period the doctor had already started seeing the next patient - hence freeing up some time for after, however when I showed up TWO minutes after the grace period (she is still with the other patient) - they said now they can charge me a fee and won't take me in. This would not have bothered me so much if my 2 minutes had an ACTUAL impact. But my doctor was with a patient before, during, AND after my arrival at the clinic. So whether I came in the 20th minute or 22nd minute - it made no difference, but they chose to make money off of it!! ALSO, I emailed management about it right away and didn't hear back for 3 days!! Then they emailed me saying that till the No Show fee is not paid I can't come to any new appointments - but then they didn't even bother checking that I had an appointment the following day!! If you are telling me to not come - it's YOUR responsibility to cancel anything there is cz you just told me to NOT COME!! When I called them to inform them that they are asking me to not come but still have an appointment booked for me - they said they did ME a favor by cancelling it!! WOW - that's all I am going to say about the staff here. I go to many different clinics, they are extremely understanding and accommodating - however this clinic has been nothing but a horrendous experience!! DO NOT go by the Integra Exchange Tower reviews - this location is just a money making business that will try to charge you on technicalities as often as they can!! read more

Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend Integra if you're looking for a family doctor. I first came to Integra looking for a family doctor about three years ago, and received one. At first things seemed promising, and I'd say that my first year there I was satisfied with my doctor. However, after that first year, things went downhill. I was able to make appointments easily, but I felt like my doctor was always in a rush. She'd spend maybe 3 minutes in the room with me, and I'd barely get through what the issue was before she was writing me a prescription for a drug that I said I DIDN'T want to be on because of negative side effects I've had in the past. If I asked for other options, she'd just tell me that this drug was the best course of action and that she couldn't do anything for me. After a few visits like this I started to insist on more of an explanation, and she'd just refer me to other services in the centre. All of which are pretty expensive, by the way, and my insurance provider would never cover the full amount. Initially I tried going to one of the chiropractors at Integra, but she literally only hooked me up to a machine and left the room for my session! This should have told me everything I needed to know about this so-called medical centre, but I figured it was just the wrong referral for me. I ended up finding a chiropractor outside the centre who actually does their job AND has reasonable prices. Anyway, I really started to feel like I wasn't being listened to when I saw my family doctor and that I was just an issue to pass off to someone else. I wasn't even asking for much, nor was I making many appointments with her - I think in the past year I saw her twice? The breaking point was when a health issue arose last summer, and I insisted in tests. She said she'd call me if there was an issue, which she had said many times before and hadn't done. In all those cases, I had taken her at her word. This time though, I had reason to believe there was a problem. So about a month after the tests, having not received any communication, I made an appointment to discuss the results of my test. I showed up, and apparently there had been issues with the test I had taken previously, A YEAR BEFORE. Only no one had called me. Things were irregular, but not so irregular that they thought I should know what was going on in my body. She literally looked at my new test and said, "Oh, yeah, the (private) is bigger than it was last year but it's still benign, so you're okay." WE NEVER HAD A CONVERSATION ABOUT THIS. I HAD NO IDEA I HAD THAT. AND CLEARLY I'M NOT OKAY IF ALL THESE OTHER SYMPTOMS ARE SHOWING UP. I point all this out to her, and all she can do is suggest that I go on the same drug I've been saying I want to avoid. Because she's forgotten we've had this conversation many times before. This is completely unacceptable. Find a solution! Actually read my past medical history and be a responsible doctor! Don't pull it up to read as soon as I start asking questions! It's clear that Integra values making more money off of their patients rather than actually helping them. I've since found a new family doctor. The difference between them and the one at Integra is astounding. I'm so much happier there, they actually treat their patients like human beings. Also want to know the kicker on this whole ordeal with Integra? They couldn't be bothered to even call me to ask if they had permission to transfer my medical files. I got an email telling me to call them about it between the specific hours they're open. Yeah, you're really just a number to them here. Always remember that. They're fine for walk-in stuff, but don't ever come here for your general practitioner. They only seem to prefer short-term fixes, and nothing too difficult. read more

Very pleasantly surprised by this Walk-in clinic, as I'd usually expect walk-ins to be kind of dreadful experiences from the wait times to the actual service. I called really early at 7, but wasn't able to get through until 8 and got an appointment for 9. This place seems really busy so if you don't live in the area it might be hard to get a spot, as they had a sign that said they are full for walk-ins for today at 9 am. They use a tablet for intake forms and the whole place is really modern and clean. My doctor (Farzana Haq) had a great bed side manner and was just really nice and attentive in general. The only downside is how busy they are + appointment system but this also means very little wait time. I think I waited for less than 10 minutes and that's probably because I was a little early for my appointment. read more

I went and saw a Doctor here a few weeks ago about my finger that I jarred into a basketball, it has been 5 months and not much improvement. Anyway I was in there for less than 5min, the doctor barley even looked at my finger, let alone touch it to see any movement. I was told to go to physio and then he walked out. I got referred to this office from a friend. The moment you walk in, you feel like you've stepped into an office where everyone knows what their doing and it has efficient FLOW. Don't know how to feel about my visit to Integra. There was no line up, the location is so convenient and everybody was so polite. The doctor spent less than 10 minutes with me. I came with a sharp pain and she never even touched me or looked at the affected area! Nobody checked my blood pressure or temperature. Nothing was prescribed but the doctor was gently pushing services of their specialists not covered by OHIP. Before leaving I requested a referral to a diagnostic procedure and agreed to see one of their specialists. In the end it looked like they saved a lot of my time but I am still in pain and basically self-diagnosed. It seemed to me that Integra is for people who need a quick health pit stop although very convenient and efficient for what it is. read more

I am a patient of Dr. Olupona who is absolutely amazing. As much as I adore her manner and impeccable family medicine services, the administration team at Integra leaves a lot to be desired. They have consistently failed to follow up on a referral on my behalf going on 7 weeks, and despite my best efforts to remedy the wait time, their lack of empathy and common decency have them just repeatedly sending faxes to the specialists with no proper follow up. It's disappointing to have to deal with mediocre admin staff and the large waste of my own time to do most of the leg work for the follow up in addition to dealing with their heavy breaths and annoyance at my calls at Integra. Here's hoping they get some new front desk and admin staff soon!! read more

If you want to wait upwards of 30-40 minutes for every appointment, and the majority of your appointment will be inputting info into an ipad, and not speaking to a real doctor, then this is the place for you. I also got the wrong blood work taken based on someone else's requisition. My last experience with the clinic was getting charged a fine for cancelling an appointment within one hour of booking it on the same day. Last one, promise. Waited 3 weeks for referral to an OBGYN, I had to follow-up twice to finally get an appointment. Not impressed and fed up with this place. I've been with Dr. Cook for last 4-5 years but its not worth it. read more

I love this practice. Everything is so well done from the sitting room to the patient rooms. I find the front desk staff to be very helpful and friendly. I've been seeing Dr. Olupona for a little over a year and she's a great doctor. She listens and asks the right questions. She's also provided me with some great referrals for the few things the clinic doesn't do. I've seen a few other specialists at Integra and they are top notch as well. I love that I can come here and have all my medical needs taken care. It kind of reminds me of the TV show Private Practice (Grey's Anatomy spin-off) without all the drama of course, haha. read more

I followed Dr. Cook here after she moved her family practice from another walk-in clinic - Integra has been generally great, front desk is efficient and professional and I normally don't have to wait long to see Dr. Cook after I present my health card. I will mention that although Dr. Cook is an awesome GP and I am fairly pleased so far, my "walk-in" appointments with her can feel a little rushed; there's definitely no hand holding, and I have to be the champion of my own care, ask the right questions and be responsible for my own follow-ups. Case in point, she ordered a blood test for a certain stomach virus and after my results came back clear, there was no followup from the clinic to investigate further (my stomach issues seemed to have resolved themselves...but it didn't seem as if the clinic cared about what happened to me after the fact). So yea, there's a bit of a "production-line" air to their services and I kinda felt like I've fallen through the cracks once or twice...but uh...I haven't died yet so that's a plus. I do have to mention that the price menu for their paramedical services like acupuncture, massage and other extras is LUDICROUS and 2-3 times more $$$ than elsewhere...so, okay prices if you are covered and are desperate for a quick fix, but I honestly wouldn't even use my benefits to access their paramedical services here. read more

I was referred to an ENT specialist at the clinic on Oct 7. I never heard back from the clinic about my appointment with the ENT specialist to after 3 weeks of waiting and unable to sleep at night due to sinus problems I called then back only to find out they had no news for me. They gave me the phone no of the ENT specialist which I called got a voice mail saying any calls about appointments would not be answered. Still I left a message. Another couple of weeks passed and in Nov I finally was able to speak with the reception at the ENT clinic only to find out that Integra clinic had only sent them my referral on Nov 17 one and a half month after I was told I had been referred to the ENT specialist. I called Integra several times and left several message nobody ever called me back. Today Dec 11 I finally managed to talk to the reception and I was told that the ENT specialist would contact me in 6-12 months time...!! I was speechless and the receptionist was just continuing as if it meant nothing to her at all. I am sure she would have been very concerned had this been for her pet but for a fellow human it had absolutely meaning for her. It's a shame tax payers' hard earned tax dollars have become so cheap that from top politicians to front line workers no body cares, zero accountability while we very submissively continue dolling out our tax dollars to CRA without even a single question on accountability. read more

The clinic was recommended by highly critical friends who was surprisingly impressed after their visit. True to their words, the staff and the experience was amazing!!! I feel particularly reassured that my health will be managed wholistically, naturally, and comprehensively because of their varied and seemingly complete wellness services. As opposed to the usual pill-popping quick fixes that other medical practitioners do, Integra encourages their clients towards activities, diets and choices that promote physical and psychological fitness. Dr. Haq is the best G.P. I've ever had. I followed her and Dr. Cook to Integra. I'd follow them anywhere but luckily they moved to this prime downtown location. It's a beautiful full-service clinic with friendly staff and you can often get same-day appointments.
