I visited Integra Tire to have my winter tires fitted back in November, I usually use another business but I had left it late and they were fully booked out. Not having a second set of rims this service required the summer tires being removed from the rims and the winters fitted in their place. Upon first impression I was happy with the service (despite the actual cost being $30 higher than I was quoted), my winters were fitted and my summers were bagged in the back of my car. I took those tires home, put them straight in my garage and there they have sat until last week when I went back to my usual shop to have them re-fitted ready for the summer. I dropped my car off and my usual shop called me to tell me there was a hole in the sidewall of one of the tires, upon asking them what could have caused this damaged they told me it was in line with damage that can be caused when removing low profile tires from a set of rims. Before I accused Integra of this I did ask my usual shop if one of his techs could have potentially caused the damage, he said they had not even got my wheels off my car and they noticed this damage while laying out the tires. I could verify that my wheels had not been removed due to the dirt and grime build up on my wheels that had not been disturbed. I have a family friend who also runs a tire shop (several hours away so not practical to use them) and sent him photos of the damage and he also confirmed it was in line with a tire being removed from the rim. Upon challenging Brian about this damaged he has lied to me several times, he claimed that there is no way the damage could have been caused during a tire change (two separate reputable businesses have claimed otherwise). He also downplayed and lied to me about the remaining tire life, he tried to tell me that the tire tread depth is only 5/32. The tread depth is 7/32 as per the photo below. Lesson learned for me to check the tires in future before leaving a business, unfortunately I hoped that as one of Integra's business mottos was 'experience integraty' this would not be necessary. Clearly they are lacking the integrity to own up and fix their mistakes. Brian did offer to pay for half of a new tire, but this really doesn't cut it given the life left in the tires and inconvenience caused by him and his team. Avoid this place, try and find a business that has the integrity to care for your vehicle properly. read more

My most recent experience here will be my absolute last. Be warned!!! For the third visit in a row this auto shop has gone ahead and completed additional work to my vehicle without my approval and authorization to do so. Upon pick up Brian the owner will tell you the work has been done, your car needed it and then he will expect you to pay for it. Well, I fell for this the first couple of times. Shame on me. I thought this was odd and out of courtesy for their customers they should call them and let them know additional work is required and ask if they like to have it done at that time. I booked in for an oil change...only to be told my vehicle needed an engine flush upon pick up so they went ahead a did that - this is the second time they have done an engine flush when I have taken it in for an oil change. When I asked Brian/owner why he didn't call me his attitude changed, he got uncomfortable, couldn't look me in the eye and had his hands flailing around. He said, I can see how much his phone rings and he has no time to call all his customers. He said he doesn't bother calling every customer for a $60-70 dollar service. He expects everyone to pay the charge regardless. I told him I was the only customer in the service bay and he could have let the voicemail answer the calls coming in to take care of the customer in house as he had my car for over an hour. When he told me my bill was $180 something and change, I told him I refused to pay the additional cost. This is the third time an extra service has been added to my bill even though I told him and the woman who booked my appointment I did not want anything else done to my care expect the oil change. I looked at Brian when I dropped it off and said it's here for just an oil change. Yup you got it he said head out and come back before 5 when they close. Brian then asked if I would be willing to pay $160...nope! Then he said how about $150...still no. I was not up for negotiating my bill. I told him the only expense I was willing to pay was for the service that I booked and requested...the oil change which was quoted $117ish. I asked if he could make a note on my file that no additional service was to be done without calling me for my approval. I added if it can't be added to my file then I will have to take my vehicle somewhere else. He responded with I think that's a good idea. I asked what was a good idea. He said, take it somewhere else. Take it where it's cheaper. Wow! So rude of the shop owner to be like this when it's his doing and he is in the wrong. I said no I'll take it somewhere where they will respect their customers and make a call to ensure it's something they want done and can afford at that time. The irony of it all Integra Tires was the cheapest oil change out of six shops I had called in North Van and the only one who could get me in before mid Dec. I want to warn everyone of what he's doing here. Conducting extra work on customers vehicles without a courtesy call is completely unprofessional and a total scam. In the last 30 years I have never had a shop do additional work without a call or a conversation about the state of my vehicle/s and what they feel needs to be done and why. I wonder if he takes advantage of just women or is it everyone. I will never support this shop again and I encourage everyone to stay clear and support other local shops that lead with honesty and integrity. There are others in the community I will happily support before ever entering this one again... Oh and they overfilled my oil now verified by a mechanic and left a greasy work glove under my hood, grease marks above my drivers side visor, did not reset the oil gauge and to top it off charged me $8.10 plus tax to top up the air in my tires. Considering you can get air at the gas station for $1.50 these guys rip you right off and don't care. Two days later my vehicle had been pulled off the road, not drivable, flashing and warning lights alarming on my dash, the check engine light came on, other things happening. My car was completely fine before this. Could it all be linked to this shoddy work by this shop? Time will tell. It's being assessed by another mechanic with 50 plus years experience as we speak. Brought in my car when the sensor was indicating low pressure on a rear tire. I thought it was just the cold weather deflating the tire. They were busy, but promised the car back in 30 minutes. Coffee and grocery shopping and the car was ready when I got back. Turns out it was a screw in the tire causing a slow leak. Reasonable price for getting my tire repaired. Added bonus... they checked and filled up the pressure on all the tires. Good experience. read more

Went in just before closing time with a minor, but important, problem. Nail in a tire causing a slow leak. Two employees jumped on it and had the nail extracted and a plug put in within about 60 seconds. Only time I've seen faster is when watching a NASCAR race. The tires were bought [used] at Integra, so no charge - the owner just smiled and wished me a good day. Unbeatable friendly service. read more

Integra Tire for all of our fleet maintenance for about 6 years now. Brian and his crew understand that for me, time is money and the quicker the turnaround time the better. What I appreciate the most about Brian and his crew is that I never feel that, due to my lack of mechanical knowledge, that I am ever being taken advantage of. Strongly recommend them. read more

I went online to find a specific set of 4 winter tires and discovered they were available on the integra website. I tried to contact the 4 mile integra tire site in Colwood but it immediately went to voicemail. On the voicemail message the person stated that they were busy and that tire work would be available on a first come first served basis. I decided to take the 30 minute drive to have the work done. On arrival it appeared as if nobody was actually working on vehicles. Five employees were standing around laughing with each other. I was approached by an employee and told her I wanted 4 new tires described on the website. She went back to the inner office, returned and stated that not only did they not have any in stock, but that they couldn't even order them. I told her the integra website showed that there was stock available to which she replied that they were not affiliated with the website. I then told her that I would not have wasted my time driving out there if they picked up their phone. She then stated that I needed to call multiple times before someone would pick up. She then said she was sorry in a sarcastic way. I said I don't think you are sorry at all to which she replied "what do you want me to do, cry?" I started laughing and told her she could at least attempt to help her customers. I immediately called Big O tire on Quadra and they ordered the tires for me. This represents a loss in sales of over $1200 for Integra. Good luck keeping that business afloat. read more

Don't recommend, unless you're looking to get ripped off. Paid $86 to get two tires rebalanced and road force checked. What a joke. Lesson learned. read more

I had air leaking from my rear left tire and had to get it fixed soon. I called up Brian and he said he had some time in the afternoon. I asked him if he could do it right away and he said yes. I drove in and the leak was fixed in 10 mins. Great service. read more

I'm not quite ready for five stars, but I've switched to Integra from Mercedes at the suggestion of a body shop that gets all their service done here. I've so far had one small job plus an annual servicing and just today took it in for a mysterious and intermittent starting problem which they dealt with right away -- amazing on a Monday in summer. Good, friendly service from Brian and co. I'm impressed. After my annual maintenance in December, we'll see about the fifth star. read more

I've been relying on Brian and Integra Tire for a couple of years. I take in for a service a Cayenne, a Cayman, and an old beat-up Impreza as well. Brian is great about identifying any issues and searching for cost-effective solutions. I also really appreciate getting into a washed and vacuumed vehicle, which Integra Tire always does for me when I pick up my vehicle. Complimentary vehicle loaner is also a great service, which I very much appreciate. Thanks Brian, Simon, and the whole crew for keeping me safe on the road. read more

I took my 96 Ford Explorer to Integra Tire in North Vancouver for a routine service. I know very little about these things and told them I wanted a service and oil change. The car drove fine when I dropped it off, it had its quirks and problems but nothing that we had not known OR driven it across the country to the East Coast and back knowing. I paid my $525 dollars and got in the car happy thinking my car was now in better shape. Immediately it was making a faint whirring noise and the mechanic was right there so I asked him and he said "Oh its just pumping the fluids through it - you know it had no coolant in it when it came in and the head gasket leaks." Yes I know, its been like that for over 3 years now. No problems. Off I drove. Half way home the whirring got much louder and it started ticking, then the oil pressure dropped. By the time I got home - less than a 5 minute drive - the car was making awful noises. I called the shop and they sent someone to look at it, then had it towed back. It took them over 2 days to tell me that during their routine maintenance the oil pumped failed and it would cost over $3000 to fix it. Much more then the car was worth. From then on we found them to be rude, not caring, and dismissive of us. The mechanics wouldnt look us in the eye when we went into the shop. I was left awkwardly sitting in the office for over 30 minutes and on two occasions they said they would call us back with information they offered and never returned our calls. It took us weeks to replace the car and because our brand new winter tires were on the car in their possession I did not complain until now. They said it was bad timing and a coincidence. Other mechanics we have spoken to said that the work the did was unnecessary and may likely have caused it to happen. Whatever the case I do not recommend Brian and his mechanics to anyone. read more

I have been going to Integra Tire North Vancouver for over 14 years now. I have found them to be consistently knowledgeable and efficient with all the issues I have brought to them. Including purchasing some awesome tires. There really is no better feeling in a car than when you drive away with a new set of tires!! Being a single woman and mother, it has always been important to me to feel safe in my vehicle not only for me, but with my kids in the car as well. It has been wonderful having a place to go where I feel I can talk to someone about my concerns and have them listen , understand and then fix the problem. I always drive away feeling safe and content that my problems have been taken car of. Not to mention the car is never as clean and shiny as it is when I pick it up from Integra!! I highly recommend this team of guys to you for any of your automotive needs. read more
