I decided to stop walking like Kramer, Senfield episode, when he was wearing the pair of navy…read moreskinny pants, and make my way in for a relaxing massage. North Ajax Rehab is located in the MacLean Community Center off Westney. With the combination of my regular RMT leaving for another clinic in Toronto and what seems to be a challenge to book a maasage, I felt I was lucky to get an available RMT for the day/time I was looking for. Turns out, this time of year is busier due to people realizing they have "X" amount of $ left on their benefits and then booking regluar massages until the the end of the year. On to the massage part with Kelli. Quick diagnosis of my hamstring pains in the right leg at the start, just the amount of pressure during the massage with suggestions for muscle improvement and flexibility, good conversation througout and I was back to being my normal flexible self walking out of there. I will return!

I contacted this clinic on a Thursday to make an appointment for Saturday. I explained to the…read morereceptionist that I was experiencing severe lower back pain which was a symptom of my pregnancy. I was assured it wouldn't be a problem, within seconds my appointment was booked for Saturday. I called back the next day having some concern about whether or not the appointment will be only an assessment or actual physio / massage. The same receptionist said come in early, if we get the paper work sorted, it won't be a problem. I showed up at 11:12am for my 11:30am appointment, it took me less than 5min to complete the paperwork. At 11:50am the receptionist apologized and said they were running late and consequently started calling patients to let them know. Why didn't anybody bother calling me? As if that wasn't bad enough, after finally meeting the girl, she spent 25min asking me questions about my sleep pattern, spent 10min telling me how to exercise and another 5min writing on a piece of paper everything she just explained, then politely said " I can't do much because you pregnant" . seriously? So after 40min, not even a full hour, they can't help me with something I initially booked my appointment for? I will never use or recommend this place, EVER! $75 gone!

Under their first-rate care, I achieved full range of motion within eight weeks, and was able to perform most everyday tasks without pain or difficulty. The effective exercises, guidance and advice helped me through the recovery process with unexpected haste, and I had regained great mobility in a short period of time. All three are kind and personable, and made the recovery process much smoother and more pleasant than it could have been. Thanks!! See my earlier reviews for additional detail. The office staff is friendly and welcoming, and the clinic is very clean and comfortable. All staff and clinicians are flexible and accommodating with appointment booking. My husband is also very happy with the therapeutic massage treatments that he receives here. Excellent clinic!!

My primary physiotherapist was Joanne. My first visit, she put me through several exercises to assess my injury. The next step was to go over recommended exercises to help with my recovery. She let me know that if I had any reservations about being in the common area with everyone else, they were able to set me up somewhere else. Not every physio facility is able to do that so this was definitely a bonus. Subsequent visits were more treatment oriented like using the TEMS machine and some soft tissue treatment. They had assistants of both genders and I was asked if I was okay being treated hands on by those of the opposite gender. The staff are all very pleasant and courteous. Very happy to have my treatments here.
