I called Fit based on my husbands referral (he loves them and have helped him with his nerve injury) and let me say I was impressed! When I called to make an appointment, the office administrator was Uber friendly, asked me some questions (yes they do direct billing with your insurer) and then sent me some forms via email and followed up with me. So amazing first impressions! Today was my appointment and I was greeted with a smile, she helped me fill out some forms I missed and then I was quickly taken for my appointment by someone I think is named Laura (well let's call her Laura for now) She was so friendly, made me feel comfortable as I was in a lot of pain, explained the process and when I can expect. Then I met the Dr., Pankil. Young, friendly, professional and provides such great detail and explanations. He walked me through first what my appointment would look like, did an assessment and then gave me a play by play of next steps. They did various things like apply heat, used a machine called "tens" on me and dry needling (acupuncture). Also Laura showed me some exercises I need to do twice a day and went through each one with me and they just Know I have a terrible memory as I received a folder and handout with exercises. This was an excellent experience and I was surprised as I'm in so much pain but this team shows patience and compassion and are so transparent with their patients. I'm booked for a couple of appointments this week and am looking forward to seeing them again. Wherever old tape was running through my head on physio, this operation is exceptional with an all star team.

The receptionists are very friendly and always say hi to me by my first name when I arrive which I think is great because they remember me and my family who also come to the clinic. Having ground floor access and being beside the big carrot grocery store is a huge plus. Parking can sometimes be tricky but I've never had to wait longer than two or three minutes for a spot. If I have to I can also take the subway as they are right beside Chester station.

Glad I went and he was able to free my vertebrae and now I see him whenever I am stiffening up or have neck kinks. Playing a lot of hockey and golf in my life lower back has always been an issue. Dr Jinnah literally has extending my golf career. Through the proper adjustments and the stretching exercises she has suggested I truly have a new lease on life. Dr Jinnah has now introduced a laser treatment program for pain. I have taken several laser treatments for a foot problem and the results are amazing. In one of my visits to Dr Jinnah I noticed the Hair Salon section of My Chrysalis just buzzing with clients......I thought .... They must be doing something right. I've been seeing Amy (physiotherapist) for the past 4 months now, twice a week, and I am so glad to…read morehave done so! I had injured my knee quite badly after weight lifting and running and just googled a physiotherapist within the yonge and finch area. Since this was my first time doing physiotherapy, I didn't know what to expect at all. After I called to make an appointment, Amy had called me personally to tell a little bit about how I got injured, where the pain is, and what to bring to the first appointment (shorts, shoes). During the first appointment, Amy went beyond my expectations when examining my knee. She thoroughly explained where the underlying pain is and which particular muscle was most likely causing me issues. To make sure you understand, she uses an app on her ipad which shows you muscle, joint, and tissue groups, so you could see exactly how your injury is causing any misalignment. She relieved the pressure in the knee and within the first 3 appointments, I was completely 100% and walking perfectly. She uses another app which sends you at-home exercises to do on your own which was especially useful in speeding up the healing process. Note, the rooms are quite small and if you are looking for something where you need complete silence, this might not be the best for you. This isn't an issue for me as I can fall asleep pretty easily during the acupuncture sessions. She's super friendly and especially caring! I now continue to see her for muscle rehabilitation and acupuncture for muscle relief.
