Jamie never did so I called the original person that I spoke to back and left a message twice. I got a text back to call a person at Nelson so in June 2025 I sent in my resume. I didn't hear anything so in July I touched base with them again. The representative asked me to do onboarding with them and I completed it. I kept looking for a job and had attained one in October. So now it is December 2025 and thought I should let them know and withdraw my application with NC through text as I have been and told them this. I got a text back stating they didn't have work and would let me know when a job was available so I knew that the text was a bot and had to retest the same thing. NC was not considerate with personal follow up and I didn't hear from them for 5 months.

One agency never replied to my correspondence, voicemails for over a week and when they finally got back to me said they couldn't help much. Two other agencies, Robert Half and Express Employment Professionals both have been great to me as far as professionalism goes but I've only received a handful of "I have a great opportunity that seems to be a good fit... let me get back to you on more info." situations. Some were already filled and another was going to end up being a 3 hour commute from Marin to Foster City--how that was missed before setting up a phone interview with the potential employer, I don't understand. With Nelson, Inc. I was given potential leads before I left their office my first day and had an in person interview and position offered in the first week with a company with another as a backup if that wasn't going to work. There has always been the highest level of professionalism in email correspondence replying within a few business hours as well as quickly returning calls in the off chance I miss someone in the office. Another unique thing I found with this friendly staff was a lot of helpful, professional tips with resume placement & how to best present myself, current unemployment/job market statistics and how that translates to my situation and overall great advice from the team on a variety of helpful job placement topics. They're a 10/10 for effort, effectiveness and professionalism but there's only 5 stars I can give here. I'd definitely recommend them!
