I was a bit nervous to return to karate in January 2020 after almost 20 years away from ATA, but the Arcemont's have helped to make it the best possible experience despite the chaos that these last 2 years have been! I look forward to attending the black belt classes each week - they are a great workout and I love that I learn something new in every class. Master Arcemont is a fantastic teacher who will meet you wherever you are physically and he creates a great atmosphere in class, as do the other instructors at IMA. Mrs. Arcemont does an incredible job keeping the school running and is always happy to answer any questions I have. And as an added bonus, I've also made some great friends here at the school. Our son transferred from a different school to ATA Kennesaw about one year ago. We have seen an incredible difference in his attention span, forms, confidence and ability to defend himself if needed. It is very rare to find an establishment where the entire staff is friendly, approachable and enjoy what they are doing. We are truly happy with our decision to enroll our son at this location and look forward to experiencing him receiving his Black Belt soon! I simply love the entire staff at Karate Atlanta Kennesaw. They encourage the kids to be leaders in/out of class and have discussions about character traits that prompt the kids to think mentally not just physically. They're engaging and make class fun while managing to meet each child where they are physically/mentally. Regardless of the class size you feel as if it's a private lesson. My son was having behavior challenges in school, when I told him I was going to tell his Master instructor he didn't like that however their conversation made a big impact in his improvement! My son started at IMA approximately 1 1/2 years ago, and we could not be more pleased. We had a few concerns with where we were prior to joining TMA, and Master Arcemont and Mrs. Arcemont went above and beyond to answer all of our questions honestly prior to enrolling at IMA. Wonderful martial arts program. Master Arcemont is an excellent instructor. Very knowledgeable and great with the students. Instruction goes so much more beyond martial arts.
