You spend about five minutes on average maybe 10 with the Physio and then they push you off to all the interns and juniors to walk around the gym doing exercises that you already do at home. This is a very expensive hourly billing for the fact that you only get 5 to 10 minutes with a Physio. They seem to be shortstaffed . read more

They are very professional in their approach to Creating a plan that will rehab my left knee Savanna is my Therapist and Megan is her PT assistant. These guys are great. I'm hoping that maybe this will get Dawn's attention, as she doesn't return calls and never answers her desk phone. Currently at 7 phone calls to her, to get my boyfriends ice machine replaced or fixed, as it likes to shut off after 5 mins...this started on Saturday and yet no one has called us back yet, to remedy the situation and it's Monday afternoon. He NEEDS this as part of his recovery. Each time we call they say she's in her office, they transfer him, only to get VM. He calls back and gets transferred, yet the call gets dropped. During my recent visit to Advanced Orthopedics, the expertise of the doctors and the quality of the facility impressed me. However, the scheduling process and the significant wait times detracted from the overall experience. From the time of my scheduled appointment until I was actually seen, the wait was unreasonably long. It's disappointing that every patient could potentially gain back 60-90 minutes of their time, which is uncalled for. Despite the exceptional expertise of the doctors at Advanced Orthopedics, the excessive wait times significantly impacted the overall experience, leading me to give a three-star review. This is a joke of a business. The office staff and COO have no idea what they are doing. They are rude and very dismissive. If leadership doesn't like you or gets a "feeling" about you they force the practice to not work with you and cancel all upcoming appts. It is very evident that the leadership doesn't have the education or work experience to hold the positions they do. They aren't organized at all. They will call you the morning of your appt to remind you of said appt even if you've already attended that exact appt. The scheduling is horrendous now and they are never even close to being on time for your visit. It's been said they have shady billing practices and you need to make sure you check what they are billing your insurance for. The doctor is great and knows his stuff but unfortunately that doesn't out way the horrible business practices and treatment by the office staff and leadership. There are so many other great doctors out there. I honestly would look elsewhere if I were you. read more

Not sure what's going on at that office. I had knee surgery scheduled with Dr. Adams however he has left the practice. Nobody reached out to let me know and the only reason I found out is because I had some questions for him prior to doing the surgery when you call you are placed on an endless hold Doesn't appear that. Leah, in PT, gets 5 stars, but Dr. Adams gets 1 star. You can get PT here without using their surgeons. I went to Dr. Adams for a second opinion on my knee replacement, after I stopped making progress in PT. The office is so over-the top bougie , it's ridiculous. He was very condescending, saying "You need to work harder in PT". This is after 3 months of PT which consisted of 3 hours each session, 3x each week and another 7 hours at home each week. Leah was my physical therapist and I really liked her. There were a couple of exercises that were too much, so she adapted them to something I could do. They have a lot more equipment and TENS units that other places don't have. I recommend them for PT, and hope their other surgeons are more caring. read more

Saw Dr. Rao and best foot and ankle specialist I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Up on the latest treatments including stem cell. I have been in agony and when I left felt all my questions were answered with the anatomy and physiology explained as if I were not a provider. The office is excellent and great emphatic staff. He takes the time to listen and he gives you an informed decision before he gives a conclusive diagnosis. He respects your input. This is my second ortho and based on my appt .... Last .... Finally felt heard ... fact of the matter - my knees, both, hurt ... I can't hike, run, backpack, play soccer, workout ... everything that made me - me is gone or at least put in pause as I have options. Dr. Gruber explained my options and allowed me to pick my plan of action. Never received any correspondence just sent me to collection for $400.00. Dont trust this company, there were rude and condescending and unwilling to even look into the problem. Dr Adams isn't your typicle surgeon. This guy is down to earth,very fair and very caring. Not looking to see how many surgeries he can do in a week to get that $$. 99% of other surgeons have that protocol. Not dr Adams or Dr gruber. He is very caring and kind and talks to you like your a friend. Also Dr Adams at minimum spends 15 min with you. What surgeon other then He and Gruber does that?? He is very detailed and honest! I had a full knee rep,and a Minip under anestesia. May 2nd 22. 1 yr later My knee is 100% and like my knee is brand new. Not because of the hardware, I believe it is because of Dr Adams love for the job,skill,intellegence and most of all. (he cares about the outcome of the surgery and his patients) So if anyone has any ortho issues. This place is the place to come if you want to be treated like family and not a patient. I have had 16 operations. These 2 Dr's I wished I had 35 yrs ago!! Follow up!!!! Went to an amazing doctor in Tucson (2 hours from me) Dr. Chafik, and he did explain the MRI to me and I was right, with what I read, so the PA Hunter lied when I asked questions. Dr. Chafik explained the shoulder issues would not cause the amount of pain I was having and that my arm wouldn't be totally dead the way it was from the shoulder and ordered an MRI of my neck. The MRI was conducted two days later and the Dr saw me the same afternoon, and confirmed his suspicions. 2 herniated discs and one bulging. The C7 is crushing the root nerve causing my shoulder and arm pain and weakness. He then started me on the steroid pack the neurosurgeon would order and sent my stuff to the neurosurgeon, northwest neuro specialist. The neurosurgeon called the next day and saw me 3 days later. Scheduled for surgery this week! Thank goodness I didn't ignore my body and found someone to help me!!!!!! read more

Nice office building. Easy to access off the 101 right in Dessert Ridge area. Comfortable waiting area. Very efficient staff. Once you make it back to a room the process is very fast; however, plan on waiting to be brought back an average of 15-20 minutes past your appt time[-1 star]. Was moved the from patient room to a very thourough X-Ray process and back to room swiftly. Dr Gruber was in shortly after. Very informative and effecient in his exam and questions asked. Felt confident in diagnosis and trusted his medical opinion. I am an athlete and knows he has my best interest in mind. Would recomend him to a friend or family. read more

Dr Gruber and Rob Hutchinson PA are great! They are highly skilled professionals, very caring, supportive and upbeat. Dr Gruber studied my shoulder issues before and after doing MRI's. He gave me some options and we went with my choice. I really liked the way he involved me in the decision making process. After he did the surgery and I completed his recommended physical therapy, my shoulder returned to full strength and is now pain-free. Thank you Dr Gruber! Sometimes I had to wait a while in the back room to see him but it wasn't excessive and always worth it. I understand he's a busy man and has other patients. I never waited long in reception, and they do have free gourmet coffee and chocolates :-) so that's a plus! I first went to Dr. Gruber for a second opinion. I had a torn tendon. First doctor never suggested physical therapy he only suggested an operation. Dr. Google suggested physical therapy, surprisingly Physicial Theophy had my torn tendon healing. Needless to say I twisted that same foot and Physicial Theophy was not helping this cycle around.I was in worse pain than the first time. Dr. Gruber suggested PRP stem cell. The second go round I chose stem cell my foot healed back to 98%. Even though it was out of pocket it was well worth it. He is very kind patient, answers all your questions and excellent bedside manner. Thank you, Dr. Gruber you are the best! read more

See all doctors should learn from this place . Then after getting called i went into a room expected to wait like every other doctor . But within 3 mins doctor comes in we talk about the problem he says I need an X ray they will said someone in to take me to get X-ray then has he leaves not even 2 mins she comes i get X-ray back to room doctor comes in drains my knee and pain shot. I check in at 3:15 I was walking to my car after talking to him exams my knees , X-ray , drains knee , Cortizone shot at 4:00. This place is amazing !!!!! read more

Terrible service and communication. Initially went in for knee pain and for bowed legs. Was told by nurse I can only have one condition checked so went for knee pain. Days later wanted to get the bowed legs condition checked out as well and my appointment was canceled by the nurse because apparently the doctor had already seen me and didn't want to see me again. Also told em that bowed legs are usually due to structural deformity and I can't do anything about it. Then I went to a physical therapist directly and was diagnosed with flat feet and knee Valgus due to muscle imbalances in my hips. After 2 months of therapy my legs are now fine and no longer rotate inward. What a joke of a practice!!! read more

I asked repeatedly about the cost of physical therapy. I was told every time "don't worry about it we except your insurance it won't be much". My bill is far more than I was expecting. They charge you for using individual therapy machines, that they insist you use, with out informing you of the cost. They increase my therapy rate and can't explain why is was increased. They charged me for services that I didn't receive. I was even charge to use ice packs. I can't get calls back and have already called the office 5 times with no success in solving my problems. I would not recommend this office to anyone seeking prompt treatment. I have had a procedure recommended to relieve my pain for over 2 months now as of writing this post. I have been told they only have one staff member capable of scheduling all of their patients, who is also out of the office for entire work days. Our father has been in severe pain. During the appointment the doctor prescribed the medicine that was supposed to help. Unfortunately, as it happens with lots of doctors and clinics, she did not send the prescription. We called Walgreens for ever and they did not have the order. When you are in excruciating pain every hour has a different meaning. We called the next day and they confirmed no prescription was sent. They claimed they did not know where to send it. The family member was there at the appointment and witnessed father telling them which pharmacy to send the prescription. Obviously that was not noted. Why they did not call to ask? They have tons of paperwork from us and never ending contact pages. These sort of things are so frustrating. Someone is in a severe pain and they do not care to follow up to send the prescription that may help. read more

So Pleased! After four prior knee surgeries, I figured the fifth was inevitable. I am glad that Dr Gruber was able to take care of all my knee concerns. The process was easy from start to finish. In my first appointment Dr Gruber provided a few options, in which I elected to take a surgical route. When I called into the clinic to schedule I spoke with Maresa, who was super chipper and very professional, she placed me on a brief hold (to my surprise it was brief!) she had transferred me to Irma, also very pleasant and professional, who was able to get me into surgery in a reasonable time ( I didn't have to wait 3-4 weeks like my prior surgeries). On surgery day, I was completely freaked out, Rob, Dr Grubers PA, came to speak with me, he was so kind and gentle he made sure I was comfortable and asked if I had any other questions. Dr Gruber also made sure I was comfortable and asked if everything was good-to-go.... a thumbs up was about all I could manage. Surgery was quick- in and out. Rob even came to greet me after, although I barely remember, I just remember seeing his smiling face and having him tell me that they took care of the problem. I had my follow-up appointment today.- I have nothing but amazing things to say from the gals in the front, always smiling and pleasantly greeting me. When I look around I find it comforting that they treat everyone in this fashion. I feel that Rob and Dr Gruber are truly invested in me getting better. I dont feel like I was just another patient to be operated on, rather it was a very calculated decision. I am very pleased that I came to Integrated Orthopedics and I would recommend Dr Gruber to all of my friends and family.
