He was in communication with me throughout the entire massage, asking if I was comfortable or if the pressure was too light or too deep (it was always just right). He not only uses the power of his own hands, but he uses other modalities like cupping, hot rocks, massage gun, scraping, and probably some other things I don't know the name of. In addition to a massage license, he is skilled and/or certified in the field of physical therapy and sports medicine and even has an evaluation tool that he uses to help him (and his clients) visually pinpoint weakness areas (and probably other things!) so he can help correct that with recommended exercises and other therapies. The morning after my first visit with him, I got out of bed without stiffness. I didn't think that was ever going to be possible again. Once you arrive, you fill out a form about your health and skin. Then wait for your student to come and call your name. Then, the two of you will go over your health screen, allergies and concerns. They take you back to the main room. Massages are done on one side of the hallway, and esthetician services are done on the other. No matter the service you get done, you are taken to a "room" which is just divided by curtains on all sides. Everyone speaks in low volume, as to not disturb the other customers. The student will take you to your "room" and explain what will happen. Then, they leave and give you privacy to undress, as needed for the service. After the service is complete, and you redress, the student walks you back out to the lobby. You are encouraged to give them constructive feedback that will help in their education. If you don't feel comfortable telling them directly, there is a written survey you can fill out. Tips are not required, but if you do want to tip, it must be done in cash directly to the student.

You could hear everything out in the hallway, which made for a really disruptive experience the entire massage The cherry on top was the masseuse taking a phone call to book someone's massage during our massage while we were in the room. Each time they stopped actually massaging. So not only was it disruptive, but one of us didn't receive our full one hour massage. When we left and it was time to pay, she tried to say that we still owed more after giving the gift certificate because they did a deep tissue massage which we did not book I gave her the gift certificate that was enough for two massages and gratuity and left I can confidently say I will never come back here
