Check this out though: made another appointment at Regeneris Medical & New England hair restoration, told them what happened and they were genuinely appalled by it. This place does the same "A-cell" technology that Leonard uses and they told that they straight up LIED to me, as there is no "short shelf life" to it (it was one of their excuses as to why it needed to be rescheduled and I lost my deposit, this new place doesn't even take a deposit! Plus, the very nice man at this place explained that is NOT true as the "A-cell" tech is added right before it needs to be used so there's no issues there, not only that but they tried to NOT push me into PRP and a 3k light cap, instead, simply a pill for now as it seemed like the best course of action as opposed to making me spending 6 grand in a year and instead only spent less than 100 bucks for 6 months of a prescription that would help all the same while the guy at Leonard hair tried to push the most expensive thing possible. Go to this New England hair and regeneris as opposed to these scam artists, it's a better facility and they also have more staff in place to help. They will give you honest opinions, not push you into stuff you don't need, don't require a deposit and they treat you much better. Leonard is popular because they have celebrity clients but this other place does all the exact same things and is much more in your corner then these guys.

With salons reopening I called a few stylist who worked on my hair through the years and not one of the 3 stylist I contacted returned my call neither did the 4 hair salons. Finally I remembered Chimene. She had done my hair in the past but when I changed jobs my hours made it difficult to see her. I crossed my fingers and reached out via text 6am on a Thurs, she responded in 15 mins, had an opening 3 days later and to my surprise she reached her goal and obtained her hair loss license because hair care is her passion. A couple weeks ago I visit SKA Scalp spa for the first time. The space is beautiful, quiet and…read morerelaxing. Overall I found the experience to be wonderful and informative, albeit expensive. I feel that our scalp health is something easily looked over and I was looking forward to treating myself to this service. First, I went over some of my concerns with my specialist and she took photos of my scalp to diagnose any issues. This area is where I deducted a star because a lot of information was being discussed and it was hard to keep track of it all. She gave me a lot of tips and recommendations and I asked if she would be able to write them down for me, but she said they would be in my file. However the file did not really include anything other than the service I was given and recommended products, but not any of the several actions she recommended a incorporate into my routine. I felt this information was a part of the steep price so I would have appreciated being able to have a chance to write it down. After this portion, we went to the spa where I received a head, neck and shoulder massage along with an array of scalp treatments. This lasted over an hour and was incredibly relaxing and worth the money alone. I did not feel it was rushed, she really look her time with each step. After this, she took another round of photos, followed by 5 minutes of red light therapy and some light blow drying. Overall I really enjoyed my experience and while I wont be going the recommended once a month due to price, I will definitely do it once in a while.

Next, a 20-something receptionist scoots in and starts grilling me on skin goals, routine, the works. I offer to discuss the specifics with the clinician who actually sees me; she says that the appointment is 15 minutes and clinician doesn't have the time, but she'll pass my notes along--second red flag. We never even snap the "before" pic because she keeps looping, "I'm allowed to ask, it's not medical medical." After five minutes of polite push-back she offers to cancel my appointment--yep, grabbed it. Whole visit was sold as a consult-plus-treatment with a provider..... which says volumes on how they treat new clients. Burned an hour, zero confidence in services, even though the clinician might be superb, first and last time. Are all their practices run this way, or was i just unlucky?
