27AUG2014 After 16…read moresessions here is my assessment. 1. Acupuncture does no harm. 2. I think it might be useful for muscle or nerve pain/problems. 3. If you think it will help then try it. It is affordable. 4. In my opinion, useless for relieving chemotherapy symptoms. Chemo drugs are nasty as they are trying to [almost, but not quite] kill you. Friday (09MAY2014). Acupuncture session at 1500. Saturday. Crappy mouth is reduced and I have a lot less fatigue. Was it: a. Acupuncture? b. Poisons excreted from my body? c. Both? d. Neither? I don't know. 02MAY2014 Very pleasant people. Took a lot a notes prior to my acupuncture. I feel very comfortable with them. Will see how it goes. Chemotherapy is nasty. I get loaded up with: Oxaliplatin, 5-fluoroucil, zofran, decadron, leucovorin every 2 weeks. The side effects are very unpleasant. I am hoping that acupuncture can alleviate some of the symptoms. Chemo mouth (aka crappy mouth). Food tastes bland. Carbohydrates taste like cardboard. Fatigue. 1-3 naps a day. Low platelet and white blood cell counts. The poison kills everything.

Booked a 90 minute massage via groupon for this location…read more Parking was a struggle with street only available parking. My massage was scheduled for 515. I arrived at 455 to fill out paper work. Nichole finally took me back around 515. I quickly undressed and laid down. She finally came back and stayed around 520. Literally 3 times I had to ask for lighter pressure. Nichole was super sweet but I shouldn't have to keep asking. The room was a little warm and the tribal music was causing anxiety a little. THE WORST PART was that my massage ended and when I checked my phone it was 637; therefore, my massage was 77 minutes when I paid for 90 minutes. I literally hate that.

I've seen many chiropractors over the last 8 years between Denver, New York, Chicago and Seattle -- and no one has used such an integrative approach for my lower back -- not only in adjusting my back -- but in creatively thinking through treatments to help including cupping, tissue manipulation, stretching and exercise assignments, and form coaching to help me improve on a day to day basis. Having recently visited an unaffiliated chain clinic in illinois where the chiropractor literally would only administer 90 seconds of treatment and have you spend the rest of your time with aids doing stretches -- I had such a deeper appreciation for Dr. Wes's approach. And - he's an overall awesome human.

My Chiro appts have included active release, dry needling, electric stim and adjustment. They're super thorough and do their best to help you not be in pain. And they give you exercises to help you further. Scheduling online is super easy. I pay out of pocket and it's only $75 to see one of the chiropractors and $80 for an hour massage. It's really awesome when it works out you can schedule your adjustment and massage back to back!! If you're in any kind of pain, do yourself a favor and schedule an appointment. The initial eval for Chiro may be more than $75. I don't recall what I paid for that or if it was higher. Either way 100% worth the money. Cara C

I saw Seth for 6 months while I was there once a week, and he was absolutely fantastic. He is the best therapist that I have found since my friend that I was seeing for over 5 years before the pandemic in San Diego caused him to retire and relocate. He did so many of the same things that it was a huge relief to find that. I really could not recommend Seth enough, from different techniques of cupping, assisted stretching, deep tissue, lymphatic drain, chranial sacral, he did a great job helping to mitigate my pain symptoms and give me back a modicum of my energy that I needed to get through my days. Had I not had so many difficulties outside my medical massage, he would have been central to my physical therapy and medical rehab plan to rebuild my strength, but I had to leave due to difficulties with the VA system and being unable to acclimate to the altitude and dryness after so many years at sea level. Thank you so much for the help guys, you've been great.

Nothing worked, and my arm was in constant pain. I went to Joanne and after the first session noticed a 50% improvement. Two sessions later, the tendonitis had virtually disappeared. I'm not going to go so far as to call Joanne a miracle worker, but she's pretty damn close. I would highly, highly recommend her to anyone else who is dealing with chronic pain and/or a nagging injury and is looking for a viable alternative to traditional western medicine.
