The first two hours I was in my room the on suite bathroom in my room had roaches a nurse had to step on them and kill them. The floor where they were killed has yet to be sanitized even once in the 3-4 days ive been here. The food is always served cold which is absolutely unsafe and could cause food borne illnesses. Pain meds are always given 30+ mins late and other meds also. It's just not good here and I'm highly disappointed but this is where my insurance will pay for my rehab so thats Why I'm here. I would not recommend this place to anyone with a choice of places to go. I've also been left for more than 45 mins for bathroom assistance. Not good!

They stole all clothes and refused to treat a UTI when I begged for a urinalysis I got in pain and vomited all night, my daughter insisted they send an ambulance, which I begged for and the nurse made me repeat I want an ambulance over and over while I'm severe pain. They finished stealing everything when I left. My son picked up 1 shirt and pants. Horrible trama from this. It went into my kidneys because of lack of treatment. From the admissions process to her daily therapy sessions, we both felt supported and cared for every step of the way. I felt that the facility could benefit from some improvement in terms of cleanliness(painting). While the staff did their best to maintain a tidy environment, there were times when the common areas and patients rooms could have been cleaner. I understand that this is an area for growth, and I hope that the facility will prioritize cleanliness in the future. If you're seeking rehabilitation services for a loved one, I wholeheartedly recommend the Nashville Center for Rehabilitation. Their commitment to delivering exceptional care and fostering a supportive environment is truly remarkable. Kudos to Jose, the charge nurse, for his outstanding care and leadership! I have been taking care of her for 16yrs. I have Crohn's Disease & Ulcerative Colitis & told them that mom couldn't come home until she tested negative for the CDIFF.They lied & said she had solid stool for 2 weeks.When her nurse told me the night before that she had diarrhea.They are neglecting them people & they were mean to some of the patients. I witnessed a man being cussed about because he threw up .I felt so bad for him. I'm contacting everyone i can to make sure that this happens to nobody else. I think my mom is still positive for CDIFF.She's been home less than 24 hours & she's so weak 7 accidents of straight water diarrhea.There's no way they sent her home like this!!I'm furious.She's dehydrated to the fullest.I also had to clean her room everytime I came to drop off her groceries!! I feel so sorry for anyone else's loved one's that has to reside there.Three of their own staff advised me to never bring her back there.Definitely not a good nursing home!

Luckily, we found the newly opened Life Care Center of Hickory Woods. This facility is decorated beautifully and staffed with very friendly and competent folks. After spending time there with the residents and the staff, we are convinced we have made the right choice for my mother's rehabilitation. We, as the family, are respected, included and welcomed with smiles and grace. This has certainly eased the trauma to both my mother and my family at having to seek a short term facility for her care. This place is amazing! They even have valet parking!

The rehab portion was ok....physical therapy and speech therapy...though the physical therapy was a bit brief. The nursing care left much to be desired. Using the call buttons was almost useless. I learned to just go to the nursing station for help, as it might be twenty or thirty minutes before anyone responded. This was largely because of understaffing, particularly on nights and weekends. Most of the nurses and other employees were very nice and caring. There simply were not enough of them on duty to fulfill the needs of patients. On several occasions when arriving to see my wife in the mornings I found her lying in bed with badly soiled undergarments. Obviously no one had checked on her for hours. On weekends nothing much happened, and there were only skeleton crews on duty. I was very disappointed in the care here. The facilities were very nice and neat, and I thought the food was satisfactory, but there is no excuse for having insufficient staffing to care for the needs of patients.
