This man Marcio Bernardes stole our money and apparently had no intention to finish our job. We…read moresigned a contract with him to connect our house to our detached garage to add more square footage to our home. It was one third down, one third half way through the job and the final third upon completion. After we gave him the first third, the work went well for the first two weeks, then way before the half way mark, he asked for the second installment. He gave a sob story and was very convincing. HE IS A CON MAN. We gave him the second installment even though he was FAR from half way done. The very next day he asked for more money. We didn't do it although we were tempted because we wanted our job done as soon as possible. Then we understood that he was not paying his workers and the insulation was incorrectly installed and we had to get someone to fix it. HE WAS TAKING OUR HARD EARNED MONEY (we are retired) AND USING IT FOR HIS OWN PERSONAL FAMILY EXPENSES. We asked for our money back. Of course, just excuses. As we tried to figure out how we are going to get our job done, he had the nerve to come back and get his ladders. Now we have to spend MORE MONEY and get our own subcontractors to finish the job. He started in October, 2025. It is now December and we are far from finished. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. If he sees an opportunity of a kind heart and resources, he will take advantage of you like he did us. AND HE TOLD US HE WENT TO OUR CHURCH, although we have never seen him there. AGAIN I SAY STAY AWAY FROM THIS DECEIVER, LIAR AND THIEF!
