    We stopped for a sunset and locked our keys in our rental. The locksmith responded within 30 minutes and was very efficient.

    Stay away from this company!…read more A month ago I contracted KFP to install a fire supression system for my business. They were extremely friendly, gave a fast price quote, and asked for a 50% down payment. They promised that they'd order the parts in a day or two and would install the system 5 days after they were ordered. I delivered the deposit within a few hours, they cashed the check immediately on the same day. I called a few times & after 10 days they hadn't ordered parts yet & they said they needed to come out to measure. They came out, measured, the installer made a parts list. I called every few days, and they were "getting ready to order parts once they talked to the owner." This went on for another 10 days. I finally managed to get the mysterious owner's personal cell phone number when they asked for more money. I questioned when they could do the job & why they needed to charge more after having done nothing for 3 weeks. He came up with some story about not being able to buy parts for a single job & needing to wait for multiple jobs because you can't just order a small batch of parts from Alabama. (as if FedEx only ships out of Alabama once every leap year or something). When I asked him to honor the deal that we made and had a written contract for, he responded "we can't afford to do that." He acted like that was the craziest thing he ever heard. He showed absolutely zero concern for my dissatisfaction. He had even less concern for the fact that he wasted a month of my time & cost an extra month's worth of profits because this is needed to get approved by the health department. All I wanted to know was why they were charging more and when it would be done. I was extremely polite & patient. Had they merely done what they said they would do, I would have went with it. Almost everything they said they would do, they didn't. The owner promised to call me back the next morning. At dinner time his secretary called me and said that they couldn't do the job & would refund the money. She hung up on me before I could ask how to get the money. I called every other day & the mysterious owner was on the Big Island, Katmandu, or some fictional place outside of Kauai and they were waiting on his approval. After 9 days, I finally got my deposit back. Meanwhile I was able to contract with the competing company on the island & they have answered questions professionally, have done everything they said they would, and we are moving forward to get this done within the next week. I'm not sure if this was more of a nightmare, or a comedy act. It was absolutely RIDICULOUS that these people would take your money, but then nobody could tell you when the job would be done. My theory is that they never intended to do the job, but needed some money in their bank account because they are having a hard time due to the poor business practices they are engaging in. This is only my theory, but explains why they didn't make an effort to answer questions & were difficult to get a response from. I'm glad that I didn't have the system installed by these scam artists because I seriously have to question the competency of a firm that mismanages it's business so poorly. Save yourself the aggravation & go with the other company that installs fire supression... BUYER BEWARE of KFP!!!
