HORRIBLE company STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS - "integrity moving"??? What a joke. Our family moved into a new condo and one of the things they asked to transport was a grand piano. A grand piano is a FRAGILE, EXPENSIVE, and VALUABLE piece of furniture so we were more than willing to pay the $100 insurance to protect us against any possible damage. Well lo and behold when we started unpacking items we realized there was a scratch on the side of the piano (take a look at the picture and tell me that doesn't look like damage due to something being scraped against it.......). This piano was placed in a secluded part of the first floor (picture included to allow you to truly visualize the space) so my parents were NOWHERE near it when they discovered the damage two days later. Now PLEASE tell me, if the movers themselves didn't alert us there was damage BEFORE the move, and if my parents had never been close to the piano AFTER the move, then when else could this have possibly happened?? HINT: what comes between BEFORE and AFTER...? You can probably guess due to the tone of this review so far that once my parents called in to explain this situation for over TWO HOURS, the company refused to take any accountability that this could have been the responsibility of the movers!! In fact, want to know what ridiculous scenarios they suggested? 1. That our neighbor who we had not yet met because we literally JUST moved in was casually in our house moving stuff around and may have accidentally damaged the piano herself 2. That our 8 pound senile Toy Poodle toothless dog (picture included) somehow levitated up to the corner of the piano and chewed on the side with her nonexistent teeth You know what's the absolutely silliest goofiest clownish part of this whole scenario? The scratch is literally only 2 inches long, so objectively the piano is not significantly damaged, but of course it's still noticeable and in principle, it's still upsetting that our beloved family piano is now scarred. Well, when we looked up how much it would cost to repair a scratch of that size, the quotes we found were around $100...the same cost as the insurance we paid to protect us against this kind of situation in the first place it's utterly ridiculous to me that a supposedly professional company would rather stay delusional and deny the completely reasonable possibility of their movers accidentally scratching against the side of a very large piece of furniture in a relatively small room than to use the insurance WE purchased for its intended use to cover a measly $100 worth of damages. Moving is a stressful experience for anyone, but boy was this the cherry on top to an already chaotic weekend of moving. Don't be fooled by their name!! These people have absolutely 0 sense of integrity and no trustworthy method of submitting a claim if your property is damaged. Instead, they will waste hours of your time trying to sneakily imply that it was your fault something went wrong without directly stating it so they can have plausible deniability - so disingenuous!! If you're reading this, "integrity" movers, don't even try to claim that that wasn't your intention; hear me loud and clear: if you're saying that your movers didn't cause the scratch, who else is left in this implication?? At the very least, you are actively avoiding responsibility and doing a disservice to your insurance paying customers!! If it hasn't been clear already, I would NOT recommend this business - save yourself the headache and STAY FAR FAR AWAY if your family has a piano!!!! No

    Great Job!

INTEGRITY MOVING did a great job more importantly Tony and James were fantastic so helpful and they even helped protect the piano on my floor by giving me some extra pads that they had. They went above and beyond the call of duty I will definitely use them again!

They recommended one truck and two men to help and it was about $110 an hour plus a truck rental fee. I paid in cash so I got a small discount on the hourly rate. Rather reasonable compared to the other quotes I got. They were great at communicating with me leading up to my moving day as well as the day of. My movers, Dmitri and Bohdan, showed up right on time and were very professional, friendly, and efficient. They helped disassemble my furniture (and put it back together) and wrapped up everything as needed. I even had a giant plant that I wasn't sure how to move, but since I was only going a short distance, they wrapped it up and secured it in the truck to take over. At one point I even got a little emotional about saying goodbye to my old place and they were so sweet to me. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again and can't thank them enough for the help. I feel like most people describe moving as a stressful, but for me it was a breeze.

Formal Complaint - Poor Service, Property Damage, and Unprofessional Conduct…read more This company and its staff were disorganized, damaging, delayed, dismissive, condescending, unaccountable, careless, and overall highly unprofessional. I strongly advise proceeding with caution. My move took place on March 13th and was poorly executed from start to finish. A job estimated at three hours took well over six hours due to inefficiency and lack of coordination. During the move, my property was mishandled, resulting in a broken mirror and damage to the walls. Communication throughout the process was minimal and disorganized, with no clear updates or accountability. I was also charged an unexpected $500 overtime fee. While this fee was eventually refunded, the circumstances raise serious concerns. I was informed that a full refund would not be considered because, in the company's history, they "do not do that," and that as long as the move was completed, the quality of service was irrelevant. While interactions with Shayne (Branch Manager) were frustrating at times, he did make efforts within his authority and indicated that approval was needed from Ben (Regional Manager) to process a full refund. It was implied this would be approved, and Shayne appeared confident in that direction. However, once escalated, communication became inconsistent. Ben was unavailable, and this was later referenced as a reason for delays. When I spoke with Brian (CMO), the response did not reflect a thorough review. Instead, assumptions were made, the tone was patronizing, and there was no meaningful effort to resolve the concerns. At no point was there accountability, de-escalation, or empathy. This experience raises serious concerns regarding service quality, communication, and leadership accountability. Proceed with extreme caution.

We used Black Tie Moving to both pack and move. On Friday August 30th 2024 their 3-man packing team…read moreshowed up. We had already packed, labeled and separated about half our stuff. Some stuff was staying, some stuff was going to storage, and most was moving to our new house. We walked them through the house and explained what was going where. While the team initially seemed engaged, soon we became concerned by the lack of questions. After all, there was no way they had remembered everything just from our initial walkthrough. They hadn't. Mostly they just didn't care. It quickly became apparent that their only concern was putting stuff in boxes as quickly as possible. (Odd considering we were paying by the hour.) That might not be entirely fair. I do think that the team lead (I forget his name) seemed to do a much better job, than the other two. We only realized just how bad the packing was as we've been unpacking for the past week. One other point about their packing was that they didn't used tape guns. They simply bunch up the tape and pull till it breaks. I didn't think much of it at the time, but as we've been unpacking, we've had several boxes just drop open on the bottom because the tape wasn't well secured. The next day, Saturday, was moving day. This time it was a 4-man, 2-truck team. It was hard work, and the guys worked hard, but the complete lack of care for our stuff was mind blowing. We had a flat-pack desk that needed disassembled. I was assured by both the sales team and the packing team, that the movers would have no problem doing just that. In fact, I was told that their guys are "highly trained." When they started taking apart the desk, they didn't know what a cam-lock was. The ubiquitous fastener used in nearly all flat-back furniture. So, naturally, they destroyed my wife's desk. But, they never mentioned it. We only found out a couple days later when we went to put it back together at the new house. In transit, so many boxes were completely smashed because they piled them so high in the truck. Our storage unit is full of stuff that needs to be at the house and our house is full of stuff that needs to be moved to storage. I will say this. It was a lot of work and the guys worked their asses off. They just didn't care about the customer experience. In their defense, one of the guys said this was his 5th move in a row. He looked exhausted. It's hard to care when you're completely exhausted. I don't blame him for that, I blame management. None of the guys had back support belts, which really surprised me. And they didn't use moving straps. If you've ever seen movers with moving straps, it's a marvel. It makes the job so much easier and safer and quicker. Ultimately, the only "black tie" aspect of the entire service (packing and moving) was the price. It wasn't cheap. We were in a hurry, and I allowed myself to be taken in by the slick marketing. I will never use this company again.

The moving job was left incomplete, forcing us to transport a large number of items ourselves. The…read moremovers packed the truck inefficiently, ran out of space, and left behind major items--including two large TVs, glass tables, and large pictures/mirrors. We had to rent an additional truck the next day and rely on friends to move four carloads of remaining belongings. At the new home, the movers struggled to bring furniture inside. We had to remove and reinstall couch legs ourselves. Dressers were carried upside down, causing drawers to jam and shift out of place. Several items were only partially moved, such as a desk moved without its drawers and a recliner moved without its power cord. Because the move was billed hourly, we felt the movers extended the time unnecessarily. A job that should have taken about four hours instead took six--and still wasn't finished. In 2018, the same items were moved in four hours by two movers. Although the workers put in physical effort, they lacked the experience needed to pack and transport items properly. Several belongings were damaged, including a bookcase broken in half and scratches on both nightstands.
