(3) The flake flooring in our basement is much warmer than I expected; certainly warmer than the ceramic tile we have in the bathroom. (4) It's easy to take care of and the pattern in the flake doesn't show dust/dirt easily. Throughout the process, Ken listened to what we wanted, asked good questions and gave us suggestions to improve on our ideas. His work was always excellent: accurate, neat and tidy, always better than I expected. Ken's work was meticulous. He would not call a job done until it met his high standards. His rates were reasonable, he lived up to his quotes, and he gave us estimates for any work he felt was beyond the scope of his original quotes. Multiple doors and drawer fronts were manufactured in the wrong sizes and need replacement. Four additional doors were finished incorrectly. To make matters worse, the hardware holes throughout the project were drilled crooked, causing doors and drawers to be visibly misaligned. The installers were friendly, but friendliness does not make up for poor workmanship, lack of quality control, and inadequate follow-through on warranty and service issues. Had I seen a review describing these kinds of problems before hiring this company, I would have looked elsewhere. In my experience, the biggest issue appears to be the new ownership and the decline in quality and customer service that has followed.
