This company is a scam. They claimed to have done business listings for my company and sent us an invoice. I never in a million years would pay several hundred dollars for free business listings. I have already claimed every single online business listings I need. And what business that claims to do business listings as a specialty has never even claimed their own yelp page and populated it with pertinent information. Smells like a rotten scoundrel to me. Other reviewers had the same experience we did- they called with an invoice number for a service that we had never, and frankly would never order. They are going to respond by saying that our Office Manager placed this order, probably overstepped their bounds, etc, etc, etc. We didn't order anything from this company- they know it, we know it- which is why when I busted them they hung up on me. :) If you are a small business without an online advertising and marketing staff, please beware anyone sending an invoice for online business listings. We have received about 10 "Final Notice's", stating we have 5 days to comply. They are saying we owe $1941.50, but can't tell us who authorized charges and what advertising they are helping with. What a scam!!! The lady said they record calls, but they can't produce that call or any contract stating what they were supposed to do for this supposed money. They should have a class action lawsuit against them. After telling them to get us proof (they said they would), we didn't hear from them for a while. I assumed it was done, but NOPE... Just got another "Final Invoice". Guess who is not going to comply with the letter.... ME!!! read more

Not a good company. Received an invoice for $500 worth for business listings that was apparently authorized. Felt that we were duped into these charges. Apparently there was a verbal authorization, nothing written or tangible to keep on record. When the call was made they made it seem it was an existing account ! Tried to reason with them and get out of this bogus contract and said that there is no way to do so. They probably target smaller companies too, which is such a shame. I question the legality of companies like this existing (although I'm sure there is a loop hole and horrible companies like these remain standing). read more

This "business" is a scam. Do not pay their "invoices" no matter how much they pressure you. I called them out on their scheme after they said they had "authorization" from an employee. They will then say they have a recording, which is completely doctored, and try to pressure you into paying their PAYPAL ACCOUNT, lol! Complete joke. I told them I refused to pay a dime for a service I never requested and would put them in contact with my attorney, and haven't heard a peep since. It's disgusting that they make even a cent off of small business owners trying to make an honest living. read more

I'm another who received one of their bogus invoices. The 'customer service" rep was adamant that I had spoken to her on a specific date. When I challenged her, she said that they taped all their conversations and she would have to pull the tape. I know for a fact that the date she referenced was impossible (unless she counts my voicemail!), so doubt I'll be hearing from them again. This is an updated version of the old Yellow Pages scam where they sent bogus "renewal" invoices in the hopes that the person who received them would just pay it. I doubt the analogy is not lost on this company, who used to be in the print advertisement world. Do not fall prey to their unethical invoicing! BTW, I don't care WHAT the say in reply (they are good about covering their tracks if you look at previous complaints) - if this review saves anyone else $1 of wasted money, or the 2-3 hours I've now wasted on their bogus scam, the time to write this is worth it! read more

This company tried what I believe is their usual tactic to scam a business out of money. The same story was told to a new employee about a renewal, blah, blah, blah. The best way to handle alleged businesses like this is to contact the Attorney General in their state, in this case, New York. They were quick to negate any "balance" they claimed my employee had authorized for work that "they had already started". I enjoy busting scammers like this. I don't know how they are able to intimidate so many people. I hope they get a lot of hang-ups when they try to extort money from any business. My employee is like OK then they ask you if the address is correct and phone number and their name and say we are sending you a invoice they give you no option to say anything really ... I normally don't write reviews, but I have to say I'm impressed with the quality of the attention I get from the customer service agents. I'm actually more surprised that I get to talk to a live person. I'm currently using Adsense, Microsoft AdCenter and elapages. They all generate pretty much the same results but when it comes to talking to a live person they've hired the right staff. Keep up the good work! read more

We were contacted by a very nice and professional woman named Michelle who apologized for the bad manners and unprofessionalism of the person who originally contacted us about our bill. Michelle explained that he was a new hire and treated all the accounts in this manner. She apologized and indicated he was no longer with the company and she has been calling all his accounts and apologizing for his lack of manners. Michelle then indicated they would void our invoice. SCAM - BE AWARE!!!! There is no such corporation registered in the state of New York and their address is the one of local grocery store. I have received several phone calls from this "people" regarding an invoice for service I never ordered nor agreed to pay for. What should you expect if they contact your company: An elderly voiced woman will call you first and try to have your attention about a free directory or listing (at least that's the first impression you get) they've been working on and ask you for details about the business, then some key words you may want to associate your company with. After a minute on the phone out of the blue your are told that this is going to coast SEVERAL HUNDRED dollars and she is GOING TO SEND YOU INVOICE for it. I did the mistake to be polite and tell her I needed to do some research before committing to any purchase. After few hours you receive a phone call from a male "associate" to confirm your address where to send a letter with their company information. The letter turns out to be the invoice. You get at least one more phone call to check on the letter/invoice. When you finally tell them to stop calling and you are not planing to buy anything it gets interesting. The same elderly woman will yell at you that you have ordered the service, they have completed all the work and you have to pay. She will even offer a prove - voice recording where the conversation is edited to sound like you agreed. It turns out all previous conversations were recorded without your consent or knowledge and they have plenty of material to play with. This is the reason for second phone call confirming your company information. They just need you to say 'YES' at least once. After all this games you are probably fed up and tell them to get lost and stop calling. Well, they are persistent. No wander all of their reviews have something in common. Don't fall into their trap and send them any money. They can't do anything nor collect on you! read more

We at HRH Labor have gotten into this scam! I have gotten call and cancelled this service like three times and received a final invoice. Today I received another call and the caller stated that she had a note that I wanted to cancel and wanted to confirm the request to cancel and would be sending out my final invoice. We have already played this game multiple times before. I do not ever recall accepting service and I would love to see an actual contract that I signed and a pieced together conversation will not cut it with me or the courts. I have sent you enough money that I should have never sent you already so Back Off! Beware of this SCAM! read more

The customer service was fantastic! They answered all of my questions right away, and it was great to be transferred to a real person. I'm very happy with my listing as well, and they designed a website for me at a very competitive price. I was not one to know much about advertising online but realize in this modern day it is a must. I would have given no stars if that was an option. This company called to let us know we have an old invoice that needs to be paid for a service that we never asked for. Customer service was VERY rude. They kept saying that the lady who answered the phone approved this. They tried to tell me that they would settle for 50% of what they claim we owe. Big time SCAM. I am yet another person who received a bogus invoice from Intelligent Networks. We are a retail operation that would never pay for an online listing when we already have our own website and there are free online listings that exist. They played some inaudible recording for me where they had someone who works on my front counter answer some questions. This is very reminiscent on some cramming charges that we dealt with at one point on our phone bill when someone got a front counter employee to answer questions and thus turned it into an "OK" to bill us. If this was a reputable company they would not work so hard to say "oh but we have proof" and play back some inaudible recording and then say "see, now you have to pay us". It doesn't matter to me what they say, this is a scam and I will not be paying them. read more

They called and said that they were "renewing our online listing" and was able to get my assistant to verbally authorize the "renewal" of their services, except we had never done business with them. Then they sent us a bill for over $500 just to list us on their little website that no one has ever heard of. They say their name quickly "ELA Pages" which then makes it sound like "Yellow Pages" which is a company we actually do business with, so this is why many people may get fooled thinking that they are renewing their Yellow Pages listing. Don't fall for it. I told them I was not paying their invoice and I didn't care what recording they had, because you can only "renew" a service if it was purchased previously, and this was not. read more

I don't even want to grace this scam artist with a one star rating... they are not worth it! They called and spoke to my office manager about our business and advertising. They asked her to verify our current listing information (evidently reading it from our website) they inquired to our normal billing procedures, they asked the owner's name, etc. All valid questions toward a possible use of OUR services. Then they asked if we had any concerns about our current advertising. My office manager responded that many people call us to get us to make signs for their business instead of the fact that we are sign language. They said that if we worked with them, people wouldn't make that kind of mistake with our advertising. My office manager explained they had to talk with me and gave them info to talk to me. They had (without permission) recorded the conversation with my office manager, then they went back and spliced her responses into a "recorded verbal authorization." They sent an invoice for $584.95 to our company email. When I called to question the invoice, they played back her "FCC recognized verbal authorization" that is "valid and binding." They told me they had to leave the line while it played. They did a sloppy technical job of splicing the farce together. They then proceeded to come back on the line and tell me "I owed" and I told them to cancel the services because it wasn't authorized and I wasn't paying it. I informed them that I was going to report them. I decided I would try to help warn others of this scam and I am now posting my feedback experience everyplace they have available for feedback... DON'T GET TAKEN BY THIS FRAUDULENT BUSINESS! read more
