You pick how often you want them to come and it's only $40 an hour with a two hour minimum. Very affordable for what we are looking for. I am so happy and a small weight has been lifted off my shoulders. We live so far I worry and dad refuses to move in with us.

I requested a new PT and she did nothing about this. It's a good thing Ryan was able to see him with his private practice instead. He also works for bayada but takes patients from bayada for his own private practice. I don't understand how this company is still in business in hawaii. The 3rd Floor staff was really nice and super kind to my mother. She enjoyed being around them. My biggest gripe is their office staff. Really super bad communication. I would call and leave messages on their voice mail and they would never return my calls. One day I was so frustrated that when I did finally get to speak to someone in a particular department I had asked why do they not return phone calls when messages are left. I was basically blown off and told I don't know. I was pretty stunned about their shear lack of accountability. They would often tell me that they called but I never answered. I would check my phone and I had zero missed calls from them because they never called. Personally, I can't stand them. It was frustrating. My mother was finally discharged yesterday morning. How I found out was through an email Thursday afternoon at 4:45pm that said "We were not able to get in touch with you but wanted to let you know that your mother will be discharged tomorrow." I was so happy to get her out of there so I would not have to deal with that horrible office staff and grouchy people that open the door. I would give them a big fat 0 stars because of their horrible office staff. My mom said 4 but their food is really a 1. So we went with 3 stars.

When I called Care Options, the owner, Sue Haylor, came IN PERSON with her team the very same day that I called. They assessed the situation and then worked overtime to try and find someone who could come in the very next day. I had help that day for 4 hours. Sadly, my husband died very quickly and we didn't need further care. I know there are some good home care organizations on Maui, but I'm so grateful to Care Options for coming to my home so quickly after my call.
