I used Mills to put new hardwood laminate throughout my whole house. We discussed that I wanted to…read morebe really sure that the top layer of the laminate (the part you walk on that looks like wood) would not peel away, seperate or curl. We had this problem with our old flooring so naturally I wanted to avoid it. Kirk assured me that the flooring I had chosen in no way would peel, separate or curl. After waiting 6 months for the flooring to arrive (due to Covid so understandable) the flooring was installed. The guys that did the installation were great. But after they left I could see that there were quite a few boards where they were already curling and one that had a big chip out of the corner of a plank. I called Kirk and he said he had never had this problem with this flooring. He assured me that he would order some more flooring to replace the problem boards. We wait another 6 months for the flooring to arrive and someone came out to replace the bad sections. He hadn't ordered enough flooring to replace everything that needed to be replaced. The gut that installed it told me that he would tell Kirk and Kirk would call me. He's never called. Not to see if I was satisfied or not. Nor to tell me he would order more flooring. Message left for him and nothing. Crickets.After paying 10k in cash it seems like he would follow up. That may not be much money to some however it's a lot to us. Needless to say we will never use them again and advised that you think twice before using them.
