I tried the baked goods here once, and won't again, as they are over priced and stale (like day old baked goods).

The desserts and breads here are very good, and there's an excellent selection. There is also a wide variety of sandwiches, with different bread and filling options. Overall this is a great spot to get some takeaway and/or bakery items. As an added bonus, they're even open on Sundays (though not Mondays).

All of it lovely and tasty, but a bit oily for me - too much dressing on the salads, too much grease on the deep fried courgette and a bit too much olive oil on my tomatoes. Not enough to spoil them though. And the lime pie was tasty, but not quite what we expected (we were thinking lemon curd, it tasted more like cheesecake). I can vouch for the coffee as being very good as well as the pastis de nata, which is my favorite, the Portuguese custard tart. The man who I think was the owner was very nice and friendly and even spoke to me in English, which doesn't say much for my French! Its open on Saturday and Sunday which is great as well.

I first had Favarger in Zürich and I really like their chocolate so, I made sure I got some more when I got to Geneva. Favarger is a chocolate brand that originated in Gene a in 1826. Now, their chocolate factory is located just right outside of Geneva. They have Bouchées - chocolate clusters made with either cornflakes or rice crispies. I like chocolate with a little bit of a crunch so, this is a must. They have them in milk chocolate, dark chocolate, matcha, and a red one that I didn't pay attention to. I'm guessing some sort of berry. I wasn't a fan of their matcha Bouchées. I got a bunch of bon bons, truffles, boxes of pralines and Dubai chocolate FrischSchoggi - my favorites from Favarger. I know every chocolatier makes their own version of Dubai chocolate and I'm sure someone who thinks they're better than everyone else is reading this review thinking "huh, this Dubai chocolate fad will die soon!" To which I say: I don't really care! I know what I like. But anywho, out of all the Swiss chocolatiers, Favarger makes their own version best one. The chocolate is properly tempered and the pistachio kataifi mixture in the middle is thick, crunchy and delicious. If you have extra time, you can make your own chocolate bar at their atelier. There was a lot of people here when I went with a few customers ahead of me that were having issues with their form of payment. They have 3-4 people working behind the counter which is not very common in Switzerland - most shops only have 1 employee. They give each customer all their attention and they really take their time. But these chocolates are worth the wait.
