It looked like you had a good view of the stage from any seat. Speaking of seats, our seats were small, very uncomfortable & jammed in. Very little room...anytime someone needed to get to the aisle you had to get up out of your seat. I did however appreciate that there was English translation scrolling way above the stage & in the seat-backs in front of everyone's seat. The opera house itself was very pretty with interesting architecture lines. The opera was really good. Beautiful singing voices, great acting, interesting props & scenery and gorgeous costumes. Last but not least were the wonderful musicians in the orchestra. Most patrons dressed up, some were very dressy & wore tuxes & cocktail dresses. The staff were super friendly & helpful as well. It was a fun evening!

Very hard to sit on, and it tilts to a weird angle so I always leave there w a sore lower back.... I hope they can address that the next time they are looking to remodel. Anyway, I love all the musicians here, they really come together so well!

We sat for the first time in the mezzanine and now I'm hooked on that view. I like that you can see every player with that overhead view. The box office is open right before the show and we bought tickets for another show. If you buy tickets in person you save on the service fees. There is a bar where you can purchase drinks and snacks. You can bring the drinks into the amphitheater. Many shows have either a pre or post talk which gives you more insight into the music, history of the times and the composers. I find them entertaining and help me appreciate the music on a much deeper level. They are free to attend. The musicians are top notch. The conductor was talking about an upcoming trip for the symphony where they will be playing to sold-out crowds at both Radio City Music Hall and Carnegie Hall! We are lucky to have this symphony in our state!

The orchestra was delightful. Patrons have access to bars on every level and drinks can be ordered ahead of time for the two intermissions, There is an area to buy souvenirs in the lobby. Now I enjoy the beauty of other people bending their bodies in ways I cannot even imagine. We came to see Fancy Footwork which was a fundraiser for the dancers to apply for various grants. Fancy Footwork was a series of short 2-5 minute dances that were a combination of classic and modern dance. In short- we LOVED it! I love not knowing what is coming next. The modern dance which typically I am less a fan of then the classics was jaw droopingly gorgeous and creative. The studio on Santa Fe is also small and intimate and the audience sat in a bleacher style set up that made for a really special night.

The Grand Entry Hall is a soaring lobby that can accomodate private events and is the main display space for art shows. There is also an Event Hall that opens to the outdoor Terrace Theater. Concessions available are beer, wine, cocktails, soft drinks, and snacks. The facility is really quite spectacular. I recently visited to view the Roland Bernier retrospective which included a substantial selection of his work from the 1980s/1990s. The expansive lobby provided an excellent setting for his large-scale works. Additional art display space is available in the long hallway that leads from the lobby to the administration offices. The Arts Center has a busy schedule of theatrical and musical events that are presented in the Main Stage and Terrace theaters. There is also a regular schedule of art exhibits. This is a well-designed complex that offers many reasons to visit for those with an interest in many areas of the arts.

Our seats were front row balcony and I'm normally afraid of heights. When I first got to our seats i felt kind of woozy but before the end of show I was over my fear. She loves all of her students so much and really becomes a mentor and an older sister to all of us here. I know from being involved in group classes that everybody adores the studio and its environment.
