This elegant facility, completed in 2011, is the arts center for the City of Lone Tree. The Main Stage Theater has 480 seats, none more than 60 feet from the stage. The Grand Entry Hall is a soaring lobby that can accomodate private events and is the main display space for art shows. There is also an Event Hall that opens to the outdoor Terrace Theater. Concessions available are beer, wine, cocktails, soft drinks, and snacks. The facility is really quite spectacular. I recently visited to view the Roland Bernier retrospective which included a substantial selection of his work from the 1980s/1990s. The expansive lobby provided an excellent setting for his large-scale works. Additional art display space is available in the long hallway that leads from the lobby to the administration offices. The Arts Center has a busy schedule of theatrical and musical events that are presented in the Main Stage and Terrace theaters. There is also a regular schedule of art exhibits. I've frequented the Lone Tree Arts Center many times for various shows and events and can say that I'm a FAN! Music on the outdoor Terrace? YES PLEASE! Community theater shows featuring local actors and actresses? VERY COOL! Seasonal plays, musicals and Christmas shows? YOU MUST GO! Events hosted by the Alzheimer's Association for families and loved ones? THE COOLEST! SO much opportunity! The website highlights the various shows, events and happenings at the Arts Center and each one is carefully curated, offered to everyone and at a low cost. The theater itself is huge, well maintained and offers levels of seating - perfect at any view. Staff is beyond friendly, welcoming and smiley each and every time! I actively look for events at this Arts Center and find myself truly enjoying each experience! Definitely worth a shot :) read more

Central City Opera presented Amahl and the Night Visitors. The talent was spot on. The music, the singing and acting were all superb. The Ambiance of The Line Tree Arts Center is a perfect place to see this performance. It is very intimate and you feel as though you are the only one in the house. Fantastic Show!!! read more

Really nice suburban arts center with a very comfortable mid-sized theater, art gallery, and classrooms. The range of offerings in the theater is truly amazing and I strongly suggest subscribing to their email alerts so you can stay up to date on the choices here. There's a mix of theater productions, stand alone concerts and occasional public lectures (eg live National Geographic presentations). Parking is easy and there's a lobby bar for pre show and intermission drinks and snacks. Well worth the drive from central Denver and obviously easy access from the south suburbs. What a gorgeous arts center! We came here recently to see the Lone Tree Symphony perform the Christmas Show and had a wonderful time. While we waited for the performance to start we were able to grab a glass a wine and look at all the beautiful local art. I had a slight panic attack when I looked at my two tickets and saw the seat numbers were 12 and 14 thinking they weren't immediately next to each other. That's actually just how the seat numbering is though with even numbers on the right and odd numbers on the left. If you live in the area this a great spot for a night out and see some local talent. It also comes with a lot lower price tag than going downtown for a similar show. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by this intimate venue. This is the best way to experience music- in a setting like this. The building itself has a great aesthetic and the architecture is beautiful. Full bar (with reasonable prices), great acoustics and friendly staff. They did state in their confirmation email that vaccination cards would be checked and they weren't. Slightly disappointing, but not a deal breaker for me. I look forward to shows here in the future. read more

Cozy, intimate setting--who even knew that this existed in Lone Tree? This is located right behind the Target off Lincoln and is a hidden gem. We came here on a Friday night to see the Lone Tree Symphony (again, didn't even know that existed and is completely a volunteer gig). They have multiple entrances and plenty of parking. They had an art exhibit that you could peruse before the show so multiple ways to get cultured in one setting! They have libations and snacks that you can bring into the auditorium with you which is also nice. Drinks run about $7 or $8 so it may be best to have a drink elsewhere all in the name of saving money. All in all, a pleasant experience! read more

The John Denver Show was NOT at all what we expected...DON'T WASTE your money... it was downright depressing - so many sad songs - I went to be entertained with John's songs and instead got more of a Broadway version of a few of his songs and sad Christmas Carols - very disappointed... :( Although the show was a disappointment - the staff made up for with a call apologizing and asked offered to make it up to me - so as I said the show wasn't great - the staff (Lee in particular) - has made great efforts in customer service - thank you! read more

I like this Arts Center. I like the "feel." I like the local art work. Casual, yet slightly upscale. I was fortunate to attend "Series of Unfortunate Events" author Lemony Snicket at his book signing. What a great event. And what a wonderful, accommodating staff. I had fun and my 11 year old son had a great time. I only hope to attend more events soon. read more

I've attended two events here and have been impressed with both. Excellent staff, clean and organized, and great performances. The Fancy Nancy event was so amazing with pink lemonade and cupcakes, a craft, a book signing with the author, pictures, a lecture with the author, and a theater production of the book. My daughter absolutely loved it, and even all of us moms had a really fun day. Will try one of their theater camps for my kiddos this winter. read more

Great venue and the Home for the Holidays shows was delightful in so many ways. However I was very disappointed there were no real Christmas songs. The Christ was definitely taken out of Christmas for that show.....I would have enjoyed it more even if there were two or three songs such as Oh Holy Night, The First Noel, Hark the Herald, etc.... I heard a few background musical references to Joy to the World and God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman but those were only a few measures. So sad that they missed the real meaning of Christmas. read more

It was my birthday today and I purchased tickets for the Motones VS The Jersey's. Wow, what an amazing show with incredible musical talent from the singers and the band. The show was MC'd by Chris Starkey, a talented singer/dancer/MC. He actually sang Happy Birthday to me 8 years ago at Flatirons Mall at one of their outdoor concerts. They have another weekend of shows, so go see this show. read more

This is such a nice, comfortable venue. Its a nice experience. I wish there was slightly more seating/leg room but otherwise its good. At my last visit, they made a "signature" cocktail to go with the performance, which I thought was great. Service is wonderful and parking is abundant. read more

Went to see the Christmas show with the Lone Tree Symphony Orchestra. The center is beautiful. Nice art on the walls. Seats were comfortable and had enough elevation so you can see above the person in front. Sat in the second to back row; good seats for watching an orchestra that filled the whole stage. Impressive string section. Show was excellent, even got some Christmas sing-a-longs at the end. Santa and Mrs Santa also showed up. There was this high school girl, Kara, that has the most beautiful voice; she sang one of the songs. She also came out to lead the sing-a-long. read more

The "39 Steps" play adapted by Patrick Barlow from the 1915 novel by John Buchan and the 1935 film by Alfred Hitchcock is a comedy played by an extremely talented cast of four. The story reenacts a murder of a women named Annabella Schmidt. Annabella met a man named Richard Hannay who agrees to hide her in his apartment as she attempts to escape from secret agents. When Annabella is murdered in his flat, Richard flees the scene of the crime that he did not commit in an effort to prove his innocence. Annabella Schmidt: "Have you heard of the 39 Steps?" Richard Hannay: "No. What's that, a pub?" Richard is not only running away from the officers; he is also on a hunt to track down a clue left by Annabella Schmidt. This play offers you an unforgettable night full of unexpected plot twists and intriguing characters along the way. The cast was amazing in their ability to transform the set in a sequential manner that did not distract the audience. It is hard to believe that only 4 performers played so many characters like: the lunatic endeavor, cops, agents, Mrs. Memory, Pamela, etcetera. This play is highly recommended and gets an A from me. read more

I love going to the LT Arts Center and especially as it's almost in my backyard. I love the outdoor concerts they have in the summer. My friend and I have signed up the last two summers and have never been disappointed. Do I like some of them better than others, yes, because I'm not a big jazz fan, however I can appreciate jazz. All the shows I have attended throughout the year have been wonderful! I was so disappointed this year or rather 2015, as they did not bring "Home for the Holidays" back:( I hope they will reconsider and bring this wonderful show back this year! That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars. read more
