Just recently I assisted a client with remodeling his new offices. He had engaged these folks to do…read morehis sign. As a designer, with some clients, I coordinate many projects within the renovations. Because the mason and landscaper were trying to coordinate around the sign being installed, I had to reach out to these folks to inquire about lead time, day of install, etc. I was put in touch with the owner whom was handling the job. She stated that she and her husband owned the business and for the first 3 minutes, seemed nice. For whatever reason, she quickly became annoyed.......and extremely rude, stating she had no idea why she was being bothered having to speak with me. I attempted to explain to her that I was the designer, the client was out of town, I did numerous commercial jobs and simply was trying to coordinate efforts with all sub contractors. The more we talked the ruder she became and even said "I didn't engage in this job with you" followed by telling me "I'm extremely busy, what is it you want?" After multiple attempts of explaining to her my involvement and that I work with many commercial companies, she had the audacity to say to me "I don't think we're the sign company for you!" I quickly told her that I agreed and would have the client and his secretary reach out to her from that point further. Rude, obnoxious, condescending, arrogant are just a few of the words I would use to describe this woman. I don't care if they were the only sign company left on earth, I would not use them nor recommend them to anyone. This woman might be the owner but her interaction with me told me that anyone using them would be subjected to her pathetic behavior! The sign ended up looking nice and the quality good but why would anyone want to have to deal with an arrogant person like this? I've since told two commercial clients, needing signage, about my experience and steered them away from the possibility of experiencing what I did. People buy from people.......not arrogant condescending business owners whom talk to people like this. Do not use these people. You run the risk of dealing with her. It's not worth it!
