No school is perfect, no teacher is perfect, but are they a school that will focus on promoting teachers that can teach? Yes. I believe so. We stayed just so our second grader could be in Mrs. Krugers class. She's an angel and retiring this year. It doesn't mean they don't love wonderful teachers but it does mean they won't keep teachers that are terrible. I would recommend. We are moving cities at the end of this school year and won't be able to continue but I would recommend if you live close. It's important to consider parent feedback and community feedback and I think they do both.

The teachers make a point of getting to know the students and truly care about helping them to succeed. My son is shy and one even stood up with him with her hand on his shoulder while he was able to accomplish his assignment of reciting a poem to the class! I encourage you to take a tour and see if you can feel the difference. BTW you'll even be impressed with their pickup system for students after school - very quick and no issues with backing out onto a street in a long line.

I knew I didn't want to do Kumon because he already had so much regular homework that more at-home work would be impossible. I was impressed from the very start. We went in for a free assessment and free first two sessions (we had a Groupon). Suchita (the owner) was SO nice! She did a thorough assessment, even breaking it into two assessment sessions. She was able to provide a detailed report showing which concepts he understood and which concepts he did not quite have. Suchita created a personalized plan that targeted those weak areas. What I truly appreciated was that she never gave me a hard sell (unlike a lot of tutoring places). She suggested different options, but didn't press a long-term commitment or more expensive options. One of the best things about Mathnasium is that you don't have pre-scheduled times (you don't have to call to cancel or reschedule or race to get there by a certain time)! Since I work and my kids have after school activities, that flexibility was a HUGE bonus! The tutors were all excellent and friendly. My son didn't have a bad experience with any of them and he really liked talking with them because they were "nice and patient." The kids are given stamps for completing worksheets, which they can trade in for prizes, including gift cards. This was highly motivating for my son. After one month, my son's grades on his math tests had improved an entire grade and he definitely felt more confident in his math abilities. I would highly recommend Mathnasium of Gilbert!

Sapna's experience in education allows her to create and work towards goals that enhance students' performance at school. She monitors each students' progress attentively and is quick to address any problems that kids may encounter. She's also very flexible and works around busy schedules which is a good thing because it prevents students from feeling overwhelmed, lost, or helpless. The work environment was always positive and efficient--being good with kids, genuinely wanting to help them, and having a strong understanding of the Kumon program were some of the traits necessary to work here so I can assure your child will be in good hands. Her and I went over the route home numerous times to be sure she knew her way home. Since it was her first day I was a little worried because we are new to our neighborhood. As I attempted to pull out of my driveway to meet her I noticed she was walking around the corner which I thought was with a crossing guard since she was wearing an orange jacket. Apparently my daughter had forgotten the route. I attempted to introduce myself and thank her for walking my daughter all the way home. The woman was so kind and was happy to help. She repeated over and over how it was "no problem" as I am profusely thanking her. The woman then introduced herself and you can imagine my surprise when I found out she was the principal! The first day of school is always hectic and this woman took her time out of her what I would assume very busy day to walk my daughter home not even knowing my daughter! Now if that is not class A top service from a school then I do not know what is! We were debating between this school and one other and I cannot begin to explain how happy I am we chose this school!
