i feel bad for taking so long to write my review after such a great experience. My wife and I were moving from Orange Country in SoCal and met up with Robin Nelson early in our search. She put us in touch with a local broker which became important later on. After previous trips where she helped us get familiar with neighborhoods we came during Memorial weekend (no choice due to job) to buy. Busy, competitive time, homes selling 30k over list, etc.. Home on list my wife had crossed off, but Robin knew best and took us to see anyway. She was aware that previous sale had fallen through due to lender problems on this house and seller of home worked with our broker professionally (local knowledge and connections key during competitive bidding) and would only sell to someone with local financing (which i had along with colleague thanks to Robin). We ended up with one of the best homes in Brentwood (single story, entry home to shadow lakes neighborhood) and our offer was considered 1st above all others that day. UNPROFESSIONAL CONDUCT COMPLAINT: Jaz Chand & Bryan Hogge Tricked us that Intero was representing us as our Buyer's Agent but it ended up representing the Seller ONLY in our new home transaction. We filed a formal complaint with the California Bureau of Real Estate (CalBRE). FYI, these two individuals are the most dishonest real estate tag team that we ever encountered. In fact, it's really sad that CalBRE professional code, "A fiduciary duty of utmost care, integrity, honesty & loyalty in the dealings with either the Seller or the Buyer" was violated for a 100% commission. ADVICE: (1) Don't buy any listings owned by these two unprofessional agents. (2) Avoid these two at all costs! read more

This review is for Bryan Hogge and Austin Hogge. I am a homeowner who was really deceived by our real estate agent when we bought our very first home and it costs us thousands of dollars in repairs that should have been done. When we tried to back out, we were actually cussed out, told us we can't back out and then hung up the phone on us. We found out later that because she broke contract, we could have indeed backed out. Needless to say, I have had trust issues with real estate agents. When my 23 year old son wanted to buy a house, I was proud of him but that anxious feeling came over me because of my past experience with agents. He was referred to Bryan by a co worker. When my son brought us to meet Bryan, I was dubious. I automatically went into mom protection mode. Why? I just didn't want my son to go through what we did. Upon meeting Bryan, he proved to be very professional and organized. He had a list of houses we were to visit that met my son's criteria and we went in an order that would not take us all over town. After a couple of more showings, I started to warm up to Bryan and told him of my bad experience. He promised me that we would never go through that with him, or his son, Austin. We met Austin on another trip to see houses and let me tell you, that young man is very much like his dad. Very honest. If I asked a question that Austin didn't know the answer to, he would tell me he didnt' know. He didnt' lie and try to fudge things over. He was honest and immediately got on his phone right then and there and got the answer. What I think impressed me the most about Austin is that not only did he tell us about the positive aspects of each home but also pointed out things such as hearing traffic because a busy road ran behind the house.. or that we might hear the noise from football games from the school two blocks away. I don't think very many people will call that to our attention and because of that, my trust with the Hogge team really clicked. Bryan made sure that we got the best fair price for the house and his communication with my son and I was thorough. Emails, texts, phone calls.... we were in constant contact with him. No matter what time of day, if I had a question, he would answer me right away. And I wasn't even the buyer. When it came to having contingencies done, Bryan made sure they were done to our satisfaction. He himself came over to inspect things and even though I've been very picky and again - protective - he was patient. I know I was difficult, I wanted to make sure everything was perfect so my son doesn't have worries. But he promised my son that things would be okay and you know what? They were. And when the house was officially sold, he texted my son with a "Congratulations, you did it!" to my son. Even after the house was sold, Bryan still made sure that things were going smoothly for my son. He even sent a really great handyman over to help us with things that I wanted fixed that were not on the agreement for the seller to take care of. My son is happy. He's got his beautiful new home and things could not have gone any smoother. And you know what? Bryan and Austin really changed my views on real estate agents. Because of that, I highly recommend them. I REALLY DO. Smooth transactions, fair, honest, and most of all, INTEGRITY. Thank you Bryan and Austin. Thank you for taking care of my son. Randy Kerr, Realtor. We looked for three years working with three different realtors to find a home without success. My husband then talked with Randy and he found us just what we were looking for. Randy handled the negotiations with the seller acceptably in our favor. The house closed in two weeks. He handled all the paper work and got us a lender. This was the fourth house we bought. We've had three previous homes and worked with several realtors. Of all the realtors we've ever had Randy surpassed all the others by far, going above and beyond. Randy listed our third home and sold it to first people to see it. The buyers agent tried to meet with us to lower the price and terms. Randy warned us this might happen. He had us contact him so he could meet with the agent to handle any and all negotiations. Randy was available to help with contractors in making improvements in the new home. He testified in court for us when a contractor sued to get paid for non-payment of shoddy work. The judge's decision was in our favor. We recommend my friends to call Randy because we know Randy will look after their interest like he did with us. Yes, we recommend him highly! read more

I was looking to sell my house in Brentwood and move to a 55+ community in Brentwood. I was recommended to Daniel and Marcy Leyva of Intero Real Estate services... that was my lucky day! Anyone buying or selling right now knows what a pain it can be. I only wanted to sell my home to pay off the mortgage, no profit. Long story short Daniel found a buyer in 2 days. Sadly my house did not appraise for the amount I was asking even though it was 150K less than I had paid. I was devastated didn't know what I was going to do (I had already purchased a new home). Daniel pulled a rabbit out of a hat a week later and brought me an all cash offer for exactly what I was asking!! AVOID THIS AGENT! I would suggest to stay away from this office and find another local office if you plan on doing any real estate business in Brentwood. My wife and family have been looking for a house for quite while about a year or so. We came across one listing Intero had posted. Now mind you this company normally holds high standards and has a great deal of integrity. I know this I own several other income homes and have been in the business for about 25 years. This office however I would recommend anyone to STAY CLEAR of it! It lacks honesty and integrity. Brentwood is a very small town and the real estate folks out here are very clicky and faternal. That being said most are honest folks trying to make a living in an market that is hurting. Some Like Intero's Randy Kerr License # 01406820 are not! I advise you strongly to find another agent.
