The exterior signage alone is remarkable! Definitely among my favorite bookstores world-wide. I came away with their The Papercuts Anthology: What Happened Here, a collection of poems, essays, and fiction by authors they hosted during their first year (2014) in business. I explained this to the instructor when I went to the class and requested a credit for future use. I requested credit instead of refund because it a local business and I like the programs they have. She refused and said they do not give credit and can only consider it if I sign up for the six-week summer program. I was appalled with the linking of the $40 credit to the signing up for program that costs over $400. It felt like a shakedown... While I like the classes they offer, I will look for an alternative elsewhere.
