Found myself out and about on a Saturday afternoon attempting to run errands when I noticed that my car was beginning to crank hard. I then realized that my battery was about 5 years old and it was a distinct likelihood that it could be going bad. Afraid that my next start would have to be a jump, I pulled over (engine running of course) and called three "battery shops" asking each a simple question: "Can you replace my battery TODAY?" Of the three, Interstate was the only one who said "Yes. Period." One of the other two had nerve to say, "Well, it depends on where the battery is located!" (). Went to Interstate, they tested it and confirmed it was about to bite the dust! Fifteen minutes later, I was driving off Interstate's lot with a brand new battery and a ton of new cold cranking amps! Set up a reseller account with these clowns. Drive to the store to pick up some batteries and return some cores. Paid way too much for what I got and didn't get credit for my cores. Something about front and back of store. Asked me to come back another day to straighten out. To Hades with em. I don't have time to make multiple trips to do business. After needed two batteries for my car, I've been back to interstate couple of times. Both times they were very friendly and efficient in swapping out my old batteries. A few months later, I had an electrical issue that put my car in the shop. After they diagnosed and fixed the issue, they realized that it had put too much of a strain on the battery and it was no longer good. Interstate warranted the battery without question. The prices are fair. While you can find cheaper batteries, they have everything in stock and not only install, they stand behind everything they sell. read more

I was in this week and needed my battery tested, I had 3 people walk past me in the outside part of the store. I was standing there listing to the most foul language I have ever hear F this and F that MF that. Finally a gentleman pulled up in an interstate truck and was so kind and courteous and helped me right away. Yes mam' was a nice thing to hear after all of the foul language I had been listening to. I believe his shirt said Mike or Michael, tall young man. If you had more hard working, polite employees like him you would be a great place. I have told so many about my experience and I even called the store to commend that young man and all I got was an okay. I always thought Interstate Battery was a Christian run company obviously the owners at the Ridgeland location do not mind that the three employees in the back were being so rude and disrespectful of their employer. This to me shows lack of respect to the employees from their employer. I hope this young man finds out that I did try to give him a good word in such a downer place to be. read more
