I am the most stubborn and unenthusiastic person when it comes to finding alternative healthcare measures, but my back and neck were killing me for some time so I finally gave in to see Dr. Grace Lee. It was the best decision of my life. Dr. Lee was friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel so comfortable. She answered all of my questions and walked me through the steps so I wasn't shocked when I heard something cracking or moving. She is small but she is strong! I also want to point out that this is one of the few places in WA state that practices the Gonstead technique. I travel a little more than an hour to get here and trust me when I say I'm never disappointed. I'd highly recommend getting in as a patient now, especially with things being a little slower due to the current issues related to COVID 19, but Interurban Chiropractic is still open, up, and running. They have been spraying, cleaning, and wiping down everything between patients so you can definitely feel at ease knowing the team here is doing their very best to make sure everyone stays safe. Dr. Kendra and her staff is like family to me. I've been seeing Dr. Kendra since my first pregnancy (5 years ago) and she has helped me overcome my on/off lower and middle back pain. For the last couple of months, I have been experiencing worsening middle and back pain that has affected my breathing, but today she was able to get me in (last minute) and adjusted me. Back in October, my boyfriend and I (along with our son and a couple friends) were rear ended while completely stopped. Totally not the way to start off a busy Saturday. Also totally not cool when you've already got back/neck problems and a newborn in the car. I was back in an accident in 2014 as well, but I live pretty far from the chiropractor I was seeing at the time, so we took to Yelp and found Interurban literally right down the road from a (seriously a 2 minute drive!) From the outside you wouldn't really know how nice of an office this is! The lobby is always pristine, there's always a new welcome sign, and there's a play area for kids which I'm sure I'll appreciate once by baby is older. They've also got water and coffee and such, but I've never had to wait long enough where I've even thought about grabbing a refreshment. Dr. Kendra is amazing. She definitely knows what she's doing, that's for sure! I mean, she's a Dr., so I'd hope so, but SERIOUSLY. My past chiropractic experiences have been great but she's seriously so precise with all of her adjustments. Mark is one of the massage therapists and I see him once every week or so. He's awesome too. I always look forward to my massages with him because I know I'm going to be leaving feeling so much better and so relaxed. He's also a really fun person to make conversation with - it takes me a minute to warm up to people in general but I feel comfortable making conversation with him for the whole hour I'm in my massages. Bailey, the receptionist, is super sweet! From day one she's greeted us by name and always makes a point to say hello to our baby. She's also super great at making sure we get in on anybody else's dropped massage appointments. Thank goodness for her! The whole team at Interurban Chiropractic is great and I'm so glad we decided to visit them after our accident. I went here in an acute state of back pain and I came here simply because of the immense amount of reviews I saw as positive. I was treated by a front desk member who was very eager to take my information. At the front desk a Chiropractor was holding a baby while discussing the the front desk she could fit me in. I filled out paperwork and explained my restive would be paying for the appointment because I couldn't. They told me they would worry about the payments till later and to complete the paperwork. Once completed I was walked to a back office. There I explained to the Chiropractor my lower back issue in my L3 and L4. I had spinal injections a year ago and what I knew I needed to do with losing the weight. I was in so much pain that each test it was obvious I was in an acute state. After taking my sweatshirt off and doing a ton of X-rays, I was led to another office where I was sat into a chair. I was then adjusted on this weird table with handles. The Chiropractor said "even with your acute state, I plan to adjust the L4!" Then as I was doing the asked breathing portion, she adjusted me and it was HELL! So I let her run this bottle of "solution" on my lower back and she told me "So we don't give you the X-rays until the second visit, and then you'll pay after the second visit and when you set the third appointment!" AHAHA I was like absolutely not. This is such a scam science and medical practice. This is my first time dealing with Chiropractic care and I will NOT return. I am just waiting for the bill for the first visit. I will not be back for a second and they can enjoy those X-rays. I went to an actual Doctor and they say the "adjustment" hurt my back worse! I am sad to leave a negative review of my experience but this was how my first visit went. I will not be back. read more

Dr. Buchholz has been amazing. She helped me get back to functioning after a couple of long standing trouble areas were exacerbated by exercise related strain/injuries and after surgery. I was upright within 24 hours of adjustment. Back to PT and mobility work within 48 hours. Back in the gym doing modified exercises within 1 week. I have been going to Interurban Chiropractic for a few years now, but I do need to schedule an appointment soon. I initially went because my sister suggested going to the chiropractor for my migraines, bloated ness and tension near my hip. After a few sessions, I could really see the difference. I came here because of a Groupon I purchased. I absolutely loved the chiropractor I was seen by and the masseuse was amazing. They told me they would check my insurance benefits and get back to me. Here I am waiting a week later and still haven't received anything. No call, No email. I was planning on going here regardless of my insurance coverage. I am now second guessing that decision.As a receptionist myself, I know it does not take more than a few days at the most to get a predetermination or just to make a friendly call to keep your possible future patient updated. I actually switched insurances this past month JUST to get chiropractic coverage. My back is always in a lot of pain. I don't feel like I am wanted here. I need relief and don't want to end up in an office where things like this happen. It was a very nice office with an absolutely wonderful chiropractor. I am writing this review to share how thankful I am to have found Dr. Kendra and the practice Gonstead technique. 8 years ago, i had just turned 30 years old and I was a very active person involved in Surfing, Snowboarding, BJJ, and Triathlons. One day after a long run I began experiencing lots of back pain and tightness all over my neck and back. This was my 1st time dealing with any type of neck of back injury so I began to see back specialists, followed by physical therapists and a number of chiropractors. After doing this for about 2 years and seeing very little improvement, I was advise by medical professionals to have my blood tested for autoimmune diseases and i was told by several doctors that i had fibromyalgia and all they could do for me is treat the pain. I fell into a couple of bad depressions and I felt completely lost and hopeless. By now I was 7 years into this difficult journey which was very emotionally taxing after being told by various "specialist" that I had the following diagnosis (Fibromyalgia, Ankylosing spondylitis, Lupus, etc) A doctor even suggested it could be early signs of Parkinsons disease, I was even told by a few chiropractors that pain could be a mental thing. My family knew how much I was struggling with this and they could see me having to work hard to do even simple things like getting out of bed, getting dress, and most importantly picking up my baby daughter. My cousin send me a video showing a doctor performing the Gonstead technique and immediately I knew this was a very different approach from the 10+ other chiropractors I had seen since my pain came about. From my 1st visit with Dr. kendra, I knew I had found something that was different and was working for me. After her 1st adjustment, that night I literally could feel my back adjusting or doing something which relieved pressure from my ribs and chest area making it easy to breath which in turn allowed me to sleep better and wake up more rested. In 2 months of seeing Dr. Kendra, I have made more progress towards getting better than I did in the past 7 years. I went for my 1st run in years last week and it felt amazing, still some pain is there but I know I have found the right doctor for me and I am just amazed on how little is know about the Gonstead technique which in my opinion is just a better approach to chiropractic. Dr Kogler gives wonderful care. However, be aware that if you have an accident claim that he does not bill health insurance in a timely fashion when your PIP insurance runs out and will claim that you did not give him your health insurance information. Even after giving him your health insurance information he will only bill sporadically. And when your health insurance doesn't pay him because he hasn't filed claims within the set time frame as a contracted provider he will come after you personally to the point of turning your account over to collections. 5 stars for excellent treatment. 1 star for poor billing practices. read more

What started out as a convenient place to get adjusted has turned into one of the highlights of my week. As a long time sufferer of lower back and neck pain, I decided to find a regular chiropractor again. I work about 3 minutes from Dr. Kogler's office, and found out that they took my insurance so it was an easy choice for me for to schedule a consultation. I am normally skeptical of new doctors and chiropractors offices but I felt welcomed after the first phone call with Kayla. I am only 22 with a full time career and good health insurance, but had some questions about the cost of treatment and how much I should expect to be shelling out. Dr. Kogler took the time to speak to me on the phone about the costs associated with the initial exam, x-rays and adjustments and put my mind at ease before I even stepped into the office. You can tell when a doctor is all about the money and not about your health and well being, and Dr. Kogler is definitely not one of those doctors. The assessment was thorough and I felt as if he understood exactly what my issues were. It has been about 6 months since I started treatment with Dr. Kogler and I feel ten times better. My chronic lower back and neck pain is very minimal compared to what it was before, and I look forward to my adjustments.
