    For the Burlington area, City Market remains a great place to shop, with some mainstream options as…read morewell as significant natural/organic/artisan options. That being said, this is the original and smaller of their two stores in Burlington. I needed two varieties dried chili peppers, common to find in New York City, and had checked out a variety of other stores, finding Pasilla at the larger City Market Flynn Avenue shop. They didn't have the missing one I needed, Costeno, they did have something that worked as a substitute. They seem to have many more dried mushroom items than dried chili peppers. My main issue with this location is the amount of parking. It's tight.

    When we were in town we had a Suite with a fully stocked kitchen so we found this grocery store…read morenear the downtown strip. It was similar to a Sprouts or Erewon. I was able to get everything I needed and more. They had a great wine selection which was perfect since I wanted to put a gift basket together for Joe's brothers whom we were visiting next for the final part of our trip. I was warned that it was expensive but I didn't really think it was that bad and was curious about it being a co-op store. I was able to get everything to make an Italian pasta dinner with Marinara. It was so nice to be able to have a homemade dinner in our suite. That's the thing about traveling is you get so weary of eating out every meal. This place was a great little grocery store just off the main strip of the Burlington downtown.
