Part of four-piece fried chicken meal with potato wedges

I shopped at three grocery stores while visiting Burlington this week. Stopped by to pick up a few items and ended up with a whole cart full of items. I got the fried chicken from the prepared foods section. It is the best fried chicken that I have ever had (and I have had a lot of fried chicken)! The store is huge and it has a great selection. The prices were pretty good.

Starbucks inside, and look at that bakery counter !!

This store has been recently renovated and it is simply spectacular! A Starbucks m, giant bakery, a market with a la cart food such as salads (hand made), pizza, and sandwiches. A very nice pharmacy, and a huge selection of anything else you could want in a grocery store. The beer and wine selection is outstanding! I was very impressed with this store, we will go back! Hope this helps !

This grocery store was very nice. I like the fact that a Starbucks is inside and that you can have a coffee while you shop. The ready to eat items are priced a little higher though than some other grocery stores in town. They have a nice organic section and many options that are hard to find. They have many keto options available and Rebel ice cream as well!!! The staff is very friendly at the check out.

    Welcome to Shelburne's finest!

Being new to the area (coming from S.E. Ohio), I would compare it to a Kroger. The prices were reasonable, the the overall variety of brands were lacking. However, it gained the fourth star because of its international food selection which was GREAT! If you bring your own bags then they'll take $.06 off for each one from your total. Also, if it's your first time and you done have a Price Chopper card tell the cashier and s/he will use a generic store one to give you the discounts. Go to the customer's service counter and with your driver's license you can get your discount card and it will also pre-authorize you to cash checks. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. I'm sure I'll be a regular.

The environment is unfriendly, the management is rude, and everything is very expensive. Do not go here.

The variety of produce at this Price chopper is what sets it apart from other grocery stores in the area.

The hot bar and Sushi options are pretty good. The General Tso Boneless Tenders are addicting!…read moreAlso, try the Cape Cod Frozen pizza. Sooo goood. The service is ok.

RE: Hannaford, University Mall, SOBU…read more.. Where do I begin? It starts in the parking lot where there's a license plate reader (that pole with the cameras and blinking lights) which also records your car and it's characteristics (stickers, dents, etc. They then match that data with your payment method in the store after recording your face using the three-point system. Distance between your eyes, and down to your mouth. This is BAD already. They sell this information to God knows who, not to mention, the police. Entering Hannafords lot is where tracking your movements begin. There are video screens showing you moving about the aisles--every aisle. This is used as intimidation. You see your pretty face in HD at the cash registers also. Self checkout? You save Hannaford money by doing their work. The reward? I was stopped at the door today by a girl who says "I need to see your receipt." OK... Everything checked out correctly. The girl says "Oh that happens sometimes." No apology, by the way. They treat customers like they're idiots. I know that I was stopped because one of the lackeys in loss-prevention watching the video console decided I looked like a good candidate to harass. There's no anti-theft devices on their groceries. Where would they put them--inside the overpriced chicken quarters I paid for??? The community at-large accepts this invasion of privacy and is happy to act as a free cashier for the store with self-checkout. So yeah, I can see where they feel that we're suckers. But again, I just loved being stopped at the door after paying for my groceries. Should you ever be wrongfully detained, take out your phone and call the police and have the officer ask for the video showing your "suspicious behavior." Nothing will come of it, but you can disrupt their store operation, making it expensive to have improperly stopped you. Dear Hannaford, please accept my middle finger as a gift to you, and as a sweetener I'm transferring all of my precriptions to Price Chopper/Market32. With the prices you charge, it's you who are the crooks. Stop projecting... Try to be sure before you stop customers at the door, you half-witted morons. Two words for you... Lowes, Walmart, and Home Depot also have these privacy-violating technologies on their properties. Too bad I can't buy all of my groceries reliably online from an online retailer outside of Vermont... I would if I could. One more time: TWO WORDS FOR HANNAFORD!
