This is the worst medical practice. i have been treated for years and just finished a two month long process for having as Ablation that was scheduled for 09/09 and 09/23 and I get a call on Friday they are no longer doing these in Rye I now have to go to Barrington and your pre appinted times are no good they changed there operation. if they wanted to change there operation they should have done it after all previously appointments were completed. this is an office that has poor follow through and doesn't care about the well-being of therr patients. i would definitely not recommend this practice. i have also contacted Medicare and my Insurance company to not make any payments until the verify the procedures are completed. i have also contacted the State of New Hampshire to see what over actions I can take against them . the office manager is incompetent and a liar. i would definitely not recommend them if you were looking for a professional medical group that took patient care seriously Blaise Crotty read more

I used to love them. Dr. Hacobian is fantastic. You'll love her if you meet her. The problem is you'll never see her again-you'll get a PA or an ARNP every time you go in, and it will probably be a different one every time you go in. And they either don't take notes or don't read them. I'm not sure what exactly the issue is, but I know that I called on the 18th after the nurse told one of my specialists not to treat me because she knew how to fix my sleep problems. Nobody called me back. Called again on the 25th to find out what the fix is she knows about that the Ph.D didn't know. 10 days after my first message they finally called me back with advice from 2017 that didn't work, which is why I saw the specialist. It was in my file if she had looked. So I don't know why they thought telling me what they told me in 2017 would work in 2019, but I can only assume that she didn't look in my file. So I wasted time and money going to a sleep specialist, then getting a second opinion, only for some girl who hasn't even been a nurse as long as I have had insomnia, who I hadn't even met yet, to think she can cure it with old advice that was tried long before the specialists were seen. And why did it take 10 days to call me back with old advice? 10 days. Go there if you're desperate, but you'll honestly just go in circles. We had a referral to see Dr Sanchez and no one ever called us to make the appointment (I was told they would and also told by them not to call them). Despite the warning not to call them weeks had gone by and we needed an appointment so I called repeatedly and no one returned my call even once. Eventually we gave up trying. A year later I was referred to Dr Hacobian and the same thing happened. This time I eventually physically went into the office and they booked an appointment. When it comes to seeing the doctor, no matter what time of day the appointment is (even if it's the first appointment of the day) we wait 30-90 minutes past the appointment time. As far as the appointment itself it's very evident they don't take good notes since each appointment results in conflicting (i.e. Opposite) diagnosis etc. I could go on and on, but I won't. There was also an instance where a scary emergency happened and we went to ER. I called to follow up with the Doctor here and let them know what happened. No message was ever given to my doctor and when the next appointment came I was lectured about how I should have called and let them know. There was also a situation of lost paperwork... Basically, the Dr is nice but the length of time waiting is unreasonable especially followed by a nurse/tech who isn't very friendly and then their disorganization. read more

I've had the unfortunate experience of dealing with the Barrington facility. I wish i had seen these reviews before. All the reviews are accurate. Stay away from this place at all cost if you are looking for a competent practice. These people will cancel appointments without informing you, will not return your calls, I'm assuming they take no notes because no one will have a clue as to why you are there when you actually do have an appointment. Not only did the tech/nurse have someone elses records when talking to me the nurse practitioner did also. I should of left then. Don't make the same mistake as myself. This place is beyond incompetent and bizarre. I seriously could go on but want to put this nightmare experience behind me and I feel dumb for dealing with them for so long. read more

Jerry S During the summer of 2013 I suffered a minor injury to my lower back. The next day I was unable to walk, I went to the hospital and after a two day stay I was told there was nothing wrong in spite of the fact that I could not walk and was in severe pain. They sent me home and for a year I fought through a number of doctors and pain clinics trying to get help. I got a lot of narcotics, but no answers and the pain kept getting worse. A year to the day of my injury I saw Dr. Sanchez. He was kind, reassuring, and promised answers. After a series of tests and exams, getting me off the narcotics and on to some more effective medications I got my diagnosis. I got a treatment plan, and above all I got compassion. Each time I go to ISM and see Dr. Sanchez and his staff I know I am in good hands, I know it's safe to have what I have and that they will all help me manage it, and with all the research I've done ISM is one of a very few places in the US where you can get this kind of treatment. read more

I was referred to this clinic by my primary care provider for sciatica and low back pain after having an MRI. The physician at Interventional Spine reviewed my MRI in my presence and made the comment, "You and I will become very good friends", meaning that I would be having recurrent epidural injections. I had my first and only epidural on a Tuesday and by Friday, I could not walk and my R leg lost all sensation and I fell. I called the office during business hours and asked to speak with either a doctor or a nurse to report these issues and to seek advice.. My call was turfed to a nurse's voicemail and by the end of the day, no one called me back and the office was closed. A covering doctor at Martin's Point instructed me to proceed to the ER and after another MRI which was reviewed by a Portsmouth neurosurgeon, I was told that an epidural would not have helped my back issue and on the following Tuesday, I had surgery. I did leave a voicemail at Interventional Spine letting them know the outcome, however,I have never received any communication from them. I have been a nurse for 43 years and have worked in clinics. If a provider has performed an invasive procedure, they should be available for questions or advice in the event of a negative outcome, such as I had at Interventional Spine. read more

I suffer with a chronic painful condition where there are not many options except for pain management. When I called Interventional Spine Medicine they told me I would be seeing Dr. Manuel Sanchez. I waited over a month for the appointment so finally when I went there I was hoping I would get some relief I was 100% wrong. When he walked in I started telling him where the pain was and how long I have been diagnosed he asked me how long I have had it and if there was something that made this disease happen like a fall or something of that sort I replied no it just came on one day. I told him about how my one doctor told me he wanted to put me on one medication, but its not for pain and he interrupted me and said yeah unfortunately that's the only thing that can help you sorry. I was in complete shock and I started to get confused I said what? That medication isn't even for pain? He said yes, but there is not many options. I was not even with the doctor for 10 minutes and that's all he could say to me without even looking at my medical records? I was fuming so I walked out as fast as I could. It was one of the worst experiences I have ever had and knowing I had to wait that long to waste my time hurts me even more.The way that it was perceived was I was only looking for pain medication and when I called the administrator to express my opinion it was very distressing, he was flat out rude and unsympathetic. I don't recommend this practice to anyone. read more

I was a patient back in 2012-14 I was referred by my primary care. Dr. Lantz was my Dr. I was extremely please with his treatment plan. cortizone shots to the limit. A couple failed or didnt have a long lasting effect. Then i was involved in a fatal mv accident and i was on oxycodone fter that accident. I did have a contract with ISM. howver after mt reatments I never saw Dr.Lantz just PA staff to handle my refills and urine. I was released in 2014 and have just found it neccesary to return to a pain clinic. With the new laws for the opioids i needed to retrieve my records from ISM to no avail i could not reach records dept spoke to a nurse and was told records 1 day a week there is a person there. dont know what day left several msgs and my new dr. did contact them was told i was positive for cocaine alcohol and no oxycodone was released. They never took notes. FALSE pos was amoxycillin for cocaine not recorded lask of oxy and alchol was z quil 3 different occasions my records sent to my primary care contained only the cortizone shots no urine records and no dr notes very sad situation in attempting to rectify these false accusations and was given half my month supply my last visit. Many med issues to list with the back and i am at a loss to rectify because they told me this was so long ago the staff is gone and i should reach out to them! How is that possible there were many and who can remember names from 5 years ago. Very sad record keeping and record dept. I still would recommend Dr.Lantz thoguh he was a good DR. Wow, a couple of poor recommendations here but excellent recommendations for Barrington, usually the docs work at both locals. i have seen Dr Sanchez for many years. he's honest, tells me when I have to just live with something and what my choices are. I find him caring, easy to talk to, respectful. I like the staff. Frankly I wouldn't know where else to go for chronic OA. sometimes I have ended up with surgery for nerve decompression but that is not his fault. Any medical person can have an off day, they have nights when they don't sleep well too. I always feel better when i see Dr Sanchez. i'll give him 5 stars. read more

I cannot recommend Interventional Spine Medicine more highly!! I have actually referred several friends there. I suffer from severe degenerative disc disease in my lumbar spine, bulging discs, etc. After years of suffering and trying to get relief with meds, ice / heat, weekly chiropractic visits, acupuncture, massage, craniosacral treatments, etc, I finally went to Interventional Spine Medicine. I found Dr. Hacobian to be very sympathetic and knowledgeable. We tried a couple of procedures that all gave short term relief. Eventually my insurance approved RFL (the nerves were ablated) which gave me pain relief for over 2.5 years!! Dr. Hacobian was quite pleased as this is longer than even she anticipated. I was thrilled!! Since the nerves do regenerate, pain started to creep back recently. She repeated the RFL and that has calmed things down tremendously! In recent months, I have see Dr. Sanchez there to help with horrible pain in my knee following a total knee replacement that I had almost a year ago. He performed an RFL on the nerves around my knee which gave some relief, but not as much as either of us had hoped. He did not give up on me! He suggested trigger point injections in the IT Band in that thigh. I was skeptical, but proceeded with it. I have been very pleased as it has also helped greatly! My physical therapist immediately noticed that my IT Band is no longer like a band of "steel" as he described it. I have been able to do more walking without severe pain--even on a decline, which had been excruciating previously! Dr. Sanchez is a very compassionate and knowledgeable man. I still have issues with the mechanics of my knee replacement and swelling and heat--things that Dr. Sanchez cannot "fix", but at least the almost constant pain is not there. Both Dr. Hacobian and Dr. Sanchez have been a true godsend to me! I am very grateful that I found their practice. read more
