My fiancé and I were in the process of renting a property that William was in charge of when he purposely strung us a long for 7 days after we saw the property in person telling him we would love to move forward. We applied through Zillow and we're trying to do a joint application, but somehow the information that was on there wasn't the correct information with what we made monthly for our income. With multiple calls and texts telling him it was incorrect and updating him with the correct info and documents to verify he wouldn't return our texts or update the owner with the correct info. He purposely waited 2 extra days to call us and inform us they went forward with another applicant even though my fiancé and I were first in line and more than qualified! Not only was that baffling but when I texted him to express my disappointment with how he acted, he proceeded to text me a rude comment and then CALL my fiancé's phone number harassing her! DO NOT do business with this man, he is very unprofessional and problematic. Isn't finding a new home supposed to be easier than this? Best of luck to anyone working with this sad excuse of a human being.

My review is limited to information gathered from one phone call, and may reflect as much on common…read moreindustry practice as this agent specifically: I called Tyson Redmond the other day on a property I've been interested in for two months. In this market, if a midtown single family residence is priced right it'll have multiple offers immediately, so it was clear it was overpriced. Similar homes in similar condition sold recently for nearly $100k less. No improvements had been done to the 1940's house. I asked him if he would entertain a market appropriate price and he told me no. He then offered to show me homes in completely different neighborhoods that were in my proposed offer's price, as though the matter was that I couldn't afford the listing price, which I found presumptuous and slightly demeaning. I asked why the house was priced so high and he admitted it was because that's what the bank wanted (the property was a homepath REO). As the agent, though, it seems like he has an influence on pricing, since he is supposed to be acting in the best interest of his seller, and as an industry that sells bank owned homes, it seems like there's no point in advertising homes for sale unless the bank is serious about selling them. At any rate, since the house has sat for so long all the windows have been boarded up which is a tremendous eyesore to the neighbors in such a high demand neighborhood I'm sure. I have to believe that the only real benefit to Tyson Redmond for listing the property since it'll never sell at a price anywhere near that is the free advertising that he gets. From his tone on the phone its clear he's gotten quite comfortable at taking advantage of any phone call on the place as an opportunity to reel in less suspecting home seekers. Hopefully this review will be a reminder to him to weigh the cost of his image with the advertising benefits he's getting by exploiting the bank's ignorance about what the market will bear. That house could have a family in it if he worked harder at influencing the bank.
