Although they said they could get to us in a month or so, it took several months. The company is owned by Blake (who purchased the company a few years ago) and his brother. Blake is basically the office guy. We were told his brother was very experienced in roofing and would be at our home when the roof was replaced. Well, he did stop by but spent very little time. The crew spoke little to no English and the supposed supervisor spoke limited English. The crew was loud and not professional. Campbell Roofing said they use only two crews and have worked with them for about six years. Wrong! The Hispanic supervisors may have been, but the roofers are apparently hired each year. We had several issues with metal trim, damage to some tiles, caulking, trash in yard, etc. They say they do a final walk around but it is up to the homeowner to find and point out any issues. Really? How many homeowners know what is right or wrong on the installation of a new roof unless it is a completely obvious issue? Well after a few weeks things were supposedly taken care of. I guess we will see when we get heavy rain and later snow. If you use Campbell Roofing, be sure to get everything in writing. There are others who have had similar experiences to ours. Also, the gutter company they use tells you to contact Campbell Roofing for any issues and Campbell Roofing tells you to contact the gutters company. Based on reviews, veteran ownership, and appearance of website, we selected Amber Peak. A phone call meant leaving a recording, but we heard from Corey, the company's owner almost imeediately. When he asked our address, he said he was in the area and could come by right away. In less than an hour he was on our roof examining the problem. He committed to coming by the following day himself. On the following visit, he detached the drainpipe from the guttering, found the cause of the water stoppage, repaired it, and returned the system to its original condition. By original, I mean that we didn't even have a touch-up paint job ahead of us. His fee was more than reasonable. A word about the owner: He comes across as about a decent a person as you could ever hope to meet. He is the owner of a young company but is clear-sighted about his goals and what he must do to get there. We whole-heartedly, without reservation, recommend him. We had a…read more24 gauge penny copper standing seam industrial grade roof with matching gutters done on our primary residence in 2016 by Wyndhill Roofing. Our house looks amazing and we love our roof. We were able to get it replaced back then by our insurance for a couple of thousand more than a malarkey level 4 hail resistant asphalt shingles. We were not sure if our rental property roof had hail damage. several contractors said our roof was extremely damaged by hail and wind. Wyndhill was the only honest company that said good luck getting State Farm to pay for a new roof. We put in a claim after 15 year of no claims and State Farm said we missed the 2 year reporting window and only agreed to pay for the down spouts. We knew we were going to go with Wyndhill but decided to get several bids because we were paying out of pocket. Wyndhill was $4000.00 cheaper than any company in town. There are no words to express our gratitude for Michael Windle, Matt and Corey for all their help in trying to get us some kind of compensation from State Farm. I have been told by several roofing companies that they used to be a good insurance company. Michael Windle personally went out of his way to come meet with a second adjuster Chris Buckley who bragged he worked in roofing with Michael. After wasting Michael's time and ours he actually just submitted the same claim info from the first adjuster who had found damage to our windows and was replacing them. Chris submitted beading and cladding work instead and did not even honor the five windows the other adjuster was replacing because they are wood. Chris Buckley adjuster also said the gutters were fine when the last adjuster was going to have them replaced. Despite all the difficulties with State Farm Insurance we decided to still replace our rental properties roof with the best roof and company in town. Wyndhill Roofing!!! Matt, Corey and Michael Windle the owner communicated with me and my husband to ensure everything that needed to be done in order to meet our June 1st deadline.
