That being said my experience was subpar. My son was doing biofeedback or a video game that you can purchase at home (mightier- they will send you a tablet and HR monitor for $40/m). There was never a treatment plan on what the steps would be to help my child. He did counseling for $150 a time, which they initially told me it was covered by insurance. It was not and they didn't notify me until after a month and a half in. Be aware of what they tell you over the phone, get it in writing! They kept pushing for the brain mapping for $1200, but I needed to trust them before spending that kind of money. When asked about the bill charges, Jan retaliated and added charges for biofeedback that weren't on the initial bill. So now in January, I'm paying for services in November because they didn't charge for the right services. The concept is there, but the execution lacked. Be careful and do your research on the company!

My mom (70+) started going here a couple of years again in prep for knee replacement surgery (2). They got her whipped into shape and surgeries went well. They did her post op as well. As for insurance- mom has medicare & a secondary - so no out of pocket as long as she has met her yearly deductible. As for me, i was in town for a week or so, and needed some work done (if you read my other reviews, this will make sense). Katie -insurance person, receptionist, and stealer of credit cards (i forgot my card once, so i'm teasing here) - checked my insurance - it was covered, just had a $25 copay - which is my PPO copay - SCORE!! Jill - the quiet one, did the assessment, with the precision (and personality) of an engineer- she put me through my paces and assessed my range of motion & limitations. i should mention, when i told her of my diagnosis (don't worry, i'm going to live) she understood exactly what i needed. Emily - the warm hearted torture machine who shared their motto "no tears in therapy" was awesome. She significantly increased my range of motion in the 3 sessions i was there. Given 3 more sessions i could have gotten to 98to 100%. Emily gave me the exercises that Jill had identified i needed & had printed out. Oh, and you realize i'm joking about torture machine. The stretching did hurt at times, but needed. i assured her i needed her to be a little more aggressive since i was on a tight schedule.

If you can tolerate labor unmedicated and fully immerse yourself in the miraculous experience of bringing a baby into this world.. this is for you! Brooke is the sweetest and most helpful receptionist. Kayla and Krista the midwives here are beyond knowledgable in their craft. After delivering my boy too quickly things became a bit scary for me and the midwife handled the situation with ease and I felt as though I was in good hands the entire time. I trust these ladies more than doctors and that speaks volumes. My last appointment was a couple weeks ago and I was really sad because it felt like a second home with all the visits. Their care, kindness and compassion is out of this world and even though I only wanted 2 kids initially, I might just have to have a third just because of how much I loved my experience here!

Here is our story. My husband and I originally wanted a midwife at the hospital but due to short…read morestaffing issues they couldn't guaranteed that a midwife would deliver our child. We decided to transfer care to the birthing center in my 3rd trimester. The normal birthing center package advertised on the website includes 13 prenatal visits, labor and delivery, 5 postpartum visits for $7200. We participated in 7 of the 13 prenatal visits and got a $200 late to care discount. At 40 weeks, the birthing center said they were required by law to transfer me back to the hospital for labor and delivery. So back to the hospital we went. We delivered at the hospital at 40 weeks and 1 day. We left the hospital after 24 hours and were expecting to receive at home care from the birthing center and complete our care through them. We were not contacted after birth about our postpartum visits for the 24 hour or 3 day check-ins. At that point, we decided to ask for a refund for the care we did not receive which included labor and delivery and 5 postpartum care appointments. We were refunded $2,929.50 out of our initial $7,000. In total, we participated in 7 of 18 appointments and did not labor or deliver with the center. Therefore, we paid $611 per 30-60 minute check-up appointment before labor. Overall, we felt like the situation was not handled appropriately. We felt taken advantaged of and not treated fairly. We hope for the future that pricing and structures reflect the care that is given.
